  • OMG why do SE Asian people ALWAYS argue in videos like this?! "ZOMG ITS LAO!" "ZOMG ITS CAMBODIAN" "NO WAY ITS INDONESIAN!!"

......WHO THE FUCK CARES! It's delicious and it's available all over SE Asia, which is good news for ALL! :)

  • oh man... i remember a few years ago when I went to laos... those were delicious... they called it milk fruit... i could see why because it tasted milky and sweet...

  • Cambodia exist first than Thailand. So that mean its Cambodian fruit. But I dont think like that. Its a fruit that grows in South East Asia. Thats all and how I will think of it. So dont say its a Thai frute.

  • who needs candy when you have a delicious and healthy fruit, sucks to me that I live in an urban city in NJ, I dont see those fruits around here and am poor! fml, I have candy instead

  • @calito0010 Go down to an asian market dude... you'll see great fruit there.

  • I love this fruit so much, want to have a bite right now =(

  • The last time I ate this fruit was 6-7 years ago. Wish they would sell the fresh one in my city; only selling in the can which is not natural. Thank you for your uploading.

  • I love that they got a fluent english speaker to read the script, but not to WRITE it!

  • What should you cut with then? I've only tasted the frozen kind and it was disgusting!

  • ca u eat the redish pink bits around the white center part?

  • @gabebm no you don't

  • @gabebm no

  • @gabebm the red parts dosent taste good at all, and it produces a red dye if stain in clothes...say goodbye to your clothes. strong and hard to remove dye.

  • @gabebm of course, in fact it's the sweetest part of the whole fruit...literal heaven made fruit!

  • THAI fruit my ass.

  • its is not thai fruit, its all over south east asia and its seasonal like durians, durian is king of fruit while mangosteen is the queen. i have a few plants at my backyard in malaysia = =

  • Is thre anywhere I can get this fruit from in Alabama?

  • @Rachna888 you might be able to get some in oriental shop but probably not so fresh though.

  • Dumbass this is not Thai. It is a fruit that grows all over the sub tropical areas of Southeast asia. I was eating these when i was in Cambodia, and Laos. Why do Thai People try to take credit for all the Southeast Asian Foods and Cultures. They are like oh we invented that when in actuality they broke off of CAMBODIA. Now all they fight over are temples. Fucking Retarded.

  • @PostProductionsTV Maybe they are referring to the ones grown in Thailand? don't know if there's any difference...but not sure where it originated.

  • I love this fruit!!! BEAUTIFUL

  • look at my video that shows an easier way to open the mangosteen

  • Thai Mangosteen is #1 fruit in the world!!!

  • @1snakedog Thai mangosteen is #fruit in the world? That's because your world is Thailand and you never see outside world in your whole life!

Mangosteen is not Thai fruit but lady boy, whore, beggar are definitely Thais!

  • Jackfruit is better than this. Believe me...

  • Comment removed

  • @chikapuli No jack fruit is not...it's durian that is "nasty" without the f-- part. But I love durians...they are so yummy and stinky too...but yummy!

  • @XeemVwj Thanks

  • FAKE!!!!!........this fruit not from thailand, but it is Originaly from Indonesia, This call " MANGGIS ", If you don't Belief, in Indonesia have A town call " CI-MANGGIS", " CI " in Indonesia it's mean Location Origin of this fruit From. Please, Respect of the true......" This Fruit from INDONESIA Originaly, NOT Thailand ".

  • @TheZul2 AND Who Gives a damn *beeeeep* where it's originally from?!

They are introducing fruits THAT CAN BE FOUND in Thailand. They are not saying the fruit is originally from Thailand.

Why don't your country make a video like this one then and tell everybody in the world that it is indonesian? .... stupid people.

  • ??? We Indonesian.....Stupid People???........think againt, that video proof, that your people are cheater, ...

ok if you say, we are stupid people, but stupid people more respect than cheater people!!!!!!

Think againt cheater poeple, Respect the true.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheZul2 Go learn some proper english please.

And you're such an angry and bitter man. Are all Indonesian people like this? I hope not. :/

  • @aromchuen

    i am angry, because

    1. you,"re county, admit this fruit from thai

    2. u say, our people is stupid

why you're county make this video, are u county try to steal............??????

why u say, we are stupid people, don't provoct us???????

    just stop it ok.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1. The video DOES NOT say the fruit is from thailand. It is only showing people what fruits you can FIND in Thailand.

    2. I did not say YOUR people were stupid, only people in general.

And I want to ask you again. Are you ALWAYS this angry? I would not like to go to Indonesia if all indonesian people are like you....

  • @TheZul2 I don't think most people bellieve that Indonesians are stupid. But keep behaving this way and you might just change their minds...

  • @TheZul2 If the shoe fits...

  • @TheZul2 Not sure about it's origins. I think everyone would like to claim it originates from their country. But no one has evidence to back it up. Ginkgo trees, however are originally from China.

  • i have no Chinese markets or shops near where i live T_T

  • Why aren't they ship it to US and be available in the supermaket?

  • yum

  • I MISS VIETNAM! When I was eight years old I ate 30 of them lol everyone just kept cutting them for me and I kept eating them hehe

  • mangosteens are the best! i miss thailand! you just can't get them better any other place, freshness is key!

  • The Purple Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana), colloquially known simply as "the mangosteen", is a tropical evergreen tree, believed to have originated in the Sunda Islands and the Moluccas of Indonesia.

just check the wikipedia..it is not originated in Thailand. ^__^

  • I love mangosteens! They're creamy sweet. It reminds me of a combination of pear-apple-banana flavors

  • it tase very very good

  • Thai fruits?? This was believe to be originated from the sundas and malucas island.

  • Unfortunately, the mangosteen I purchased at my local Asian market was expensive and not like what's shown in this video. The outer shell was very hard and most fruits ended up being rotten on the inside. It's $7.99 a pound and each bag of fruit weighs around 1.5 - 2 pounds. I wish I could get it a little fresher!

  • Its hard to get fresh tropical fruit in the west I you have to come to South East Asia for fresh juicy tropical fruit

  • @goody0033 Yah. Same thing here. I bought frozen mangosteen. Very icky tasting but the juices I've bought are good. I wonder why they are icky if frozen. Other frozen fruit are not icky.

  • Thanks for the great video!

  • wah....so nice......oh ya.....it stains....its locally cheap here and easy 2 get.. =D

  • Mangosteen is not Thai fruit it widely plant and grow in south east asia!

  • @sharonscw ...agree with you my friend...like rambutan it's in the philippines too....:D

  • I want to eat that so bad.

  • i love love love that fruit

  • i will see how you do it for my next one

  • mangost good to eat hard to cut open

  • Its very simple to open it you just need to take the head of and squeeze it to open you don't even need a knife to open it

  • thanks sharon
