Sounds pretty sweet and hauls ass

There was real power everywhere in the rev range, with only mild breathlessness up top. The General's 4-spd auto produced quick and eager shifts. It was very well matched to the power characteristics of the 2.2. Around town, the Cavalier could embarrass many a V6. My (at the time) 00 Accord V6 included.
My Sid has one and it exotic and her mom had a 2.2 my Sid go faster and rpm go higher then her brother got one like the mom and both went slower but they all had supercharger and stick so that's what I think .
Oh, I forgot, I had Russel stainless steel brake lines installed and it made a huge difference in stopping. Much less effort needed and gets a lot nicer bite to stop. I honestly feel like I have rear disc brakes now.
That is nice! My wife's Sunfire with 2.2 Eco has the AEM CAI, high flow 2.25" cat and 2.25" exhaust all the way back using a Trans Am muffler with 2x2" exits, ground kit, and front strut brace. I have a rear brace in a box though along with a 4:2:1 stainless header. I need $ to get those installed. My wife's Sunfire is much quicker than my stock Cobalt 2.2 coupe. I am not sure I will mod my Cobalt as the fly by wire system sucks for mods.

You cant but it wakes a lot to do it basically swap everything electrical wise from a 00 or newer and the dash to fit the bigger cluster i, but if you want to build up the 2.2 OHV i did that to mine and im running low 15's the videos are on my profile

I ain't talkin cavaliers I'm talking about how You don't have to spend much to get a turbo 4 cylinder quick. I have a buddy with a WRX with a turbo 2.5 boxer 4 and it has about a grand into performance and runs in the high 11s compared to putting a grand into a GTO and getting 12s
6.0 gto's run 12.5 stock bro spend a grand and you can get them in low 12's to high 11's but if you are a true tuner and do some much needed weight reduction they can run quicker. but yes i agree with you my buddy has an evo 9 and with cams, port and polish head, stroked out to a 2.35, and a 20g turbo upgrade, fuel system, igniton system, and a stand alone to switch between E85 and 93 octane. he is pushing over 600whp
is that one stock ? cause my 0-60 is 2 seconds faster but I have a different muffler and no covernater lol but nice to a 100 if you dont and cuv ethier should push around 125

My '05 cavalier can go up to 6700 with an auto if you shift it manually but otherwise shifts around the 6200-6500 range at wide open.
