@TheVictor2 Because its TAS - they basically get a program to put in all the controller inputs and then just run the game and sit back and hope to get the best time. Look for the Super Mario 64 one - it will ruin your childhood further... as it did mine.

@denmar411 That's not how a TAS works, the tools only do slowdowns and save states and a few other little bits, making it easier to do the glitches needed for a speedrun. you still have to control it, not just sit back and get lucky.

with TAS u can slow down game speed, so u can see every single frame. if u want to get a mushroom you just stop by the mushroom u have enough time ;). i think slowest rate is 1 fps. the replay is in normal speed.
