Man, Kahn is the best ruthless motherfucker i ever saw in games. It doesn't matter who gets killed or what consequences happen, so long as he wins, it may be 2 seconds to doomsday for all he cares....but....

He wasn't stealing enough to sustain his youth or make him young again, only enough to keep his powers going, keep himself alive and add more power to Kahn and since Mortal Kombat only occurs once every 50.1 years, if stole any souls in the previous tournament to make himself younger, it was already wearing off ...once he told his plan of a Outworld Tournament to Shao Kahn, Kahn made him younger and more powerful, after that he just kept stealing souls to get younger...

@SuperRoffa5314 No no, that part I got already, but I had to beat Armageddon again as Taven to answer my own question. I guess Taven won but in his ending, his victory only caused the kombatants to grow stronger, so probably why we don't see Taven, Daegon, or Blaze.

@AmAxel35 no no thats a ''characters ending..'' the real ending was that shao kahn won lol. i can say this as a fact since I played mk9 completely. this is what really happend in the mk story line so that means taven didnt win. in MKA.. who knows in this story line taven will comeback for another reason.

@SuperRoffa5314 Read what I typed though, Taven's ending says pretty much his victory did nothing but just strengthen the kombatants, so they were all still fighting anyway, he didn't stop Armageddon. Shao Kahn could have simply just continued fighting (somehow breaking free of Onaga) until it was just him and Raiden. It's a possible explanation is what I'm saying, as we don't see Taven, Blaze, or Daegon (besides a cameo in I think Pit II?)

May the Elder Gods forgive me!" - Last bit of Taven's ending which would possibly be the canon ending, but yes it could be possible Kahn defeated Taven, Daegon, and Blaze alone until only Raiden was in his way and thus this.

Lord, Raiden looks so helpless and defeated, particularly when Shao Kahn throws him and his amulet breaks. All of the corruption that Raiden endured in his return in MK: Deception has come to nothing, he got darker only for Shao Kahn to still crush him, makes you feel real terrible. I wish they just had Taven save the Realms instead of having Raiden turn back time in this way. And yes, I know that Taven's MK: Armageddon ending had him fail the quest by just making the Kombatants stronger.
