It's a bad tackle but - Jesus Christ - do you think he really tried to break his legs? He doesn't extend either of his legs or lunge at him, it's just the momentum of the speed he was running at. Yes, it's a red card, but give the guy a break, he's trying to play for the ball and unfortunately the momentum's just taken him straight through the player. Injuries like this happen in football, and notice that Shane Long hasn't branded it a "horror challenge", so why should you?

@derekhannon I agree, i'm defending him because I do know he does have the ability and is good enough to be a top full back in the EPL but as I said it is a shocking tackle and hopefully Hutton will stick to being a good player rather than having any kind of reputation for being a dirty player because as a Rangers supporter I know that he wasn't that type of player and did really well for a young lad at the time.
