alright i tried that an it said....the ipod could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible?

can anyone PLEASE help me with my ipod touch i jailbroke it and i was doing that thing where you can hide your apps. but what happened was i think i hide all the apps and now it wont go to the home page? like it even wont go to the slide to open..i tried to restore the ipod but it keeps on trying to restart(reboot) to the page. all i see is the pineapple? so if anyone knows how to fix it please message me!

ok this is what you have to do to fix it. you have to hold the home button and put it in the computer. keep holding the home button and then click shift and click restore

i have a brand new ipod touch with version 1.1.4 i was wondering if this is the best way to hack it or if i could just downgrade to 1.1.1 and hack it there if i dont care about all the things that 1.1.4 have
