Robert Conrad who's real name is Conrad Robert Falk is really only 5'7". One of my favorite actors. I just loved watching him and Ross Martin in Wild Wild West when I was a teenager.

@glorybra You are right, and it wasn't lost on me, watching RC in the Wild, Wild West, when I was young, that here's somebody in my own height group who made it big. And you didn't have to be 6' tall, or even near it, which RC certainly wasn't, to be an action star, or, let's face it, a male sex symbol.

NFW Conrad is 5'10". Maybe 5'8". He is very competetive guy but at times he comes off like an ass. I liked him when I was a kid but he can act like a jerk . He looked real foolish when he challenged Gabe Kaplan to a 100 yd dash & got beat. I saw some recent pics of him & he has aged so much. Shatner (hair piece) is the same age but looks much better. Conrads right arm is partially paralyzed from a DWI crash he caused back in '03.

@nenzi671 Yeah, I was just a kid during the 70s but since my father was into all that macho shit I wound up watching lots of films and television shows featuring Conrad. He definitely seemed arrogant back then. He also had a major drinking problem, if I'm recalling correctly. Recently, he was involved in a major car wreck while driving under the influence. He always looked older than his age b/c throughout most of his career, he used a phony birth-date that shaved off ten yrs. He about 80 now

Very odd to look back 30 years. Bob was a great coach...we went undefeated. The tall blond kid is his son Christian.

The asisstant coach was Red West who was an actor and former Elvis bodyguard...also a great guy.
