  • @asalaxampakatrogios

Man, you're terribly wrong! How can Pantera be influential for Sepultura when they played gay music the same time Sepultura played true thrash/speed/death metal? It makes no sense at all! You can say that Sepultura was very influential for Pantera to become a metal band (in 1990. I think), and I think you're right when you say that Sepultura will never reach Pantera, but that's because Sepultura have always been much better than Pantera.

  • @asalaxampakatrogios hahaha ignore the retarded troll guys...

  • Foda.

  • Comment removed

  • Why the FUCK do I see comments about Pansytera here?

  • @puffintuffer you bastard, evidently you dont know shit about music. pansytera? asshole, they were god's own. whichever or whatever is your god.

  • @nikhilphillips Evidently you weren't around before they ruined my "not knowin' shit about music"-scene back in the late 80's. Before them metal was RAW and nothing else. O.K. so they had a couple of good songs, but "Cowboys from Hell" just pissed me off---PURE GARBAGE!!!

Now, let's get back to leaving comments about Sepultura, one of the original masters of metal, other bands tried but never came close.

  • This is with Jairo Guedz! Why the hell I never knew about this tape???

  • puta que pariu, esse vocalista aí é o max:::::: devia ter 17 anos na época e um vozerão e personalidade no palco de fuder

  • this IS the best line-up of what was the best era of sepultura i love all albums but the first 2 bestial devastation and morbid visions are their best MORBID VISIONS ftw!

  • hell yes!!!!

  • Wow!! Great find now that's wut iam talkin bout....

  • The real Sepulfuckingtura! And fuck of Pantera bashers! Bunch of pussies.

  • @jmdpgh who the fuck can dislike pantera or sepultura? they are two of the gratest bands i know!!!

  • @jmdpgh hey i like both bands don`t say shit i like more sepultura than pantera because max had a good voice

  • @crowsteel686 I'm not quite sure if you are saying Max has a better voice than Phil or you are just quoting someone elses comment due to your poor sentence structure but I have to say something. To each their own, I get that. Everyone is entitled to like whatever they want but are you saying Max has a good voice and Phil doesn't? If so, that is the most retarded comment ever. Max has an ok metal bark but can't carry a tune in a bucket. Phil has amazing vocal range!

  • Max sang the 2nd chorus in the line of the first one and viceversa

  • this is incredible footage. it's amazing considering Max was 16 and Igor was only 15 when they played this gig.

  • max was 17 but still very impressive

  • Kick ass song

  • What I would pay to go back in time and see this. Fuck.

  • hell yea!

  • Wow this the first time I've seen this song played live with Jairo . Very cool.

  • Cuando el grupo valía la pena...

  • love this song!!!

  • max is only 17! fucking sick

  • The bassist looks like a dork. A stunt double for the main character in Napoleon Dynamite.

  • hahaha

  • Who were they opening to?

    Para quem eles tavam abrindo?

  • BOA PERGUNTA

  • Venom and Exciter

  • lol the guitar shredding sounds like congo drums sometimes

  • i'd have to agree with napalm and go with Death as the first death metal band per se...., Sepultura is more thrash/groove metal to me.

  • InterpolFL. Listen here you stupid cunt fuck! Morbid Vison album is death metal!!!

  • wow calm it nuub, that 1 album maybe have been but they undeniably became a thrash/groove band from then on, including today... go jack it to more dungeon porn you angry little basement dweller.

  • InterpolFL. dungeon porn? basement dweller? LMAO! You must be a sick twisted sycopatic sexual sadist!

Please take a rope and d*i***eee!

  • Thank you for proving my point that you are most likely a 15 year old uneducated nerd. I can't believe you actually spelled psychopathic "sycopatic".... dear god you are an idiot.

  • InterpolFL. English is not my native language you fucking stupid idiot! You understood what I meant anyway!

You are an idiot and not me!

Lmao! You are weird. BTW, you need to chill you stupid friendless computer tard!

  • ya morbid vision is pure death metal

  • & Bestial Devastation EP

  • yes we can't forget about this precious, I like until Roots album, after that no news to me

  • Yeah Roots is really shit.

Chaos A.D. in all truth aint that great either.

  • Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions sound closer to death metal than thrash/groove. Sepultura didn't start to play groove untill 1993 with SUCK AD.

    Hail Early Sepultura!

  • You're right. Bestial and Morbid were death metal and Schizophrenia was death/thrash. Beneath The Remains and Arise were thrash but after that it went downhill and the groove/nu-metal sound became their new style on Chaos AD and Roots. Pantera didn't really hit that scene till Trendshit.

  • Totally fuckin agree,BENEATH THE REMAINS that is fuckin sepultura in my opinion.fuck it

  • the hair metal era of pantera was not too bad in my opinion. sure they looked all glamy and shit, but the music itself was decent and not very lame. metal is metal. have you heard power metal? just as good as cowboys from hell.

  • I don't like the glam era because there were lots of glam bands around that time and they just wanted to be popular and get into the scene... But they made some good songs anyway... We'll meet again is a great song for example

  • yeah, thats very true. most bands were in it for the scene. but just like today, there has always been scenes. some just dont appeal to some people. which is why you had the thrash and glam divide of the 80s. and why today there is even scenes. scenes are just bigger than others. doesnt neccesarily mean that others suck. know what i mean? =)

  • Yeah, kinda :D

  • panteras early days raped theyre older metal core shit

  • Metalcore? Are you kidding me?

  • he's right, pantera did kinda start the whole modern metalcore thing, but they knew how to do it right, and theyre early days were just glam metal, they were shit until phil joined

  • I always thought pantera was groove metal, not metalcore...

  • no pantera are just shit

  • well they definitely groove, and they are metal, so yea they are haha sub-genres are pretty tricky and definitely not set in stone

  • i like all pantera...PANTERA FTW!!

  • WOW Max is skrawny here!!!!

  • hehe nice hairs max ;p

  • best version of troops of doom though..

    better way than schizophrenia album

  • this is "old school death metal" or deah/trash

    jairo guedz is in guitars

bestial devastation-morbid visions era is the shit!

    5 stars..

  • * can't think of

  • Death metal in 1985 and 1986? Who was the first band to introduce death metal? I can't think about many bands than Sepultura. There werre too many heavy metal and thrash metal bands back then.

  • Many regard Possessed's ''Seven Churches'' to be the first death metal album, however I regard that one as thrash/death, Sepultura's ''Bestial Devastation''/''Morbid Visions'' sounds closer to black/death metal.

  • I agree with calastiur however, many also regard Chuck Shuldiner and his band "Death" as defining the genre....but definitely, Sepultura were there from the beginning!

  • old ?

    iuahiuahiuha

  • who cares is it death or trash, its fucking great anyway

  • This shitting... I say it sincerely! Yeah!

  • Que no se pierdan nunca estos grandes videos, grande Sepultura

  • opino lo mismo... reliquias del metal...

  • Oh, yeah your right sorry. But he never recorded anything with them.

  • Anybody know a place to download this show? I have been looking at torrents but none of them have seeds.

  • It wasn't the vocalist... Max was their vocalist from the beginning until he left.

  • morbid visions is one of the first death metal albums look at the album cover the songs and lyrics, schizophrenia is the best sepultura album played very loud

  • jario t. has no stage presence, he just like stands there. anyways hail sepultura!!!!!!

  • This is original brazilian death/thrash or deathrash if you like, along with Sarcofago, Vulcano, Sextrash. It's not death metal or black metal or thrash metal (it's not like exodus for fucks sake). HAIL SATANAS. THRASH!

  • ITS DEATH METAL

I HAVE THE MORBID VISIONS LP AND BESTIAL DEVASTATION lp BOTH ORIGINALS

AND ON THE INNER SLEEVES IT CLEARLY SAYS "DEATH METAL"

  • yeah and this is better version of troops of doom

    the original1

  • 100% agree there bro.

  • wow, Sepultura has always been cool, even back in the 80's.

  • this sounds kinda more of black metal with death infuences. haha

  • It's called thrash metal.

  • dude this was from thier first album, and it was thier death metal era. bestial deviation and morbid visions

  • It's clearly thrash metal with death metal influences.

  • sounds more like death to me still though. heheh

  • Its fucking DEATHRASH!!!!

  • yewah, let's go with taht man!!!!!! peace! sepultura!!!!!

  • I have to disagree, i myself regard Bestial devastation and Morbid visions as black/death metal.

  • Back then death metal wasn't made yet. It was made around the same time when the first couple of death metal bands were actually playing. Death for example... And the ones who made the title were possessed with their last track on seven churches "Death Metal"

  • You're retarded and know nothing about Troops of doom is from Morbid visions

    it isnt thrash metal

Bestial devastation and Morbid Visions was their death metal era

  • Hahaha!

  • Whats so funny?

  • You are.

  • How exactly am i funny? my comment was proving a fact, not an opinion

Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions are Death Metal

i have them both on vinyls

and on the inner it even says "death metal"

  • Well hello there, mr. vinyl collector! I also happen to have those vinyls and I didn't say that they aren't death metal.

They still are thrashy as hell and it's a fact, that they influenced thrash metal genre more than death metal genre.

  • Well no shit buddy

    of course they did

they had more thrash albums than death metal albums

  • So, what's the problem? Man, I've nothing against you and I didn't say anything retarded.

Old Sepultura beats almost any band back in the days and these days.

  • Oh well i thought you did lol thats why i kept saying stuff,

but i have to definately agree there that Sepultura beats almost any band in those days

  • Oh, you mean this:

"It's called thrash metal. " (which was a reply to this bullshit: "this sounds kinda more of black metal with death infuences. haha")

I said that, because Sepultura is/was definitely one of the most thrashing bands on earth even when they were death metal.

  • wish i was there, sadly i was not even born lol

  • same lol

  • ESTO SI ES SEPULTURA VIDA HIJUEPUTA ..morbid visions.. que puteria de musica

  • When Max was realy ''possessed'' (that was his nickname).

    hail the early Sepultura!

  • INESQUECIVEL..........

    Eu estava lá.

  • who did they open for?

  • Venom was the headliner.

  • the real sound of troops of doom, not like the new versions post beneath the remains, in fact this song is the only one of these times that it still playing in concerts today...

  • Sometimes they play Necromancer also.

  • esta bueno el video, pero sepultura son unos vendidos de mierda. AGUANTE SARCOFAGO SEPULTURA CHORROS.

  • i love this song!!!!

    TROOOPS OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!! >:D
