  • Nice Job Daddy!

  • Do the the g12k-100s retain the bottom end the recto cabinet usually has. The reason I ask is I have the same cab with a Mesa Tremoverb and love the tone your getting.

  • Amazing tone from the roadster and the charvel! what are your settings for the Roadster sir!? thank you and god bless!

  • @submit1 Thanks. I don't recall the exact settings unfortunately, but it was nothing extreme on the dials. The speakers really helped open up the sound.

  • Holy crap! He looks just like Paul Giamatti!

  • I so badly want a Charvel So Cal.... and I own a mesa amp. Sadly guitar center doesn't have the guitar but has the amp, Sam Ash has the guitar but not the amp! This video helps my dilemma! Thanks!

  • 1:24 - 1:27 that has been really beautiful....

  • ooh I like the tone ..its a bit rough

  • I just love how it stayed in perfect tune after the whammy assault.

  • How well do u think the Charvel would sound with a Stiletto Ace 2x12?

  • @MiketheGuitarDude91 Actually, probably somewhat similar to what you heard here. Because the Stiletto is a brighter circuit going after a Marshall-like tone, and my rig here uses different speakers (G12K100 Celestions instead of Vintage 30's), which again, bring out a brighter, punchier sound. It's like the one balances the other. The Charvel with the evo pickups are high output, but still very open and punchy - they're essentially a hot rodded PAF sound.

  • Awesome. The face you made during the Floyd Rose abuse was just amazing. Definitely subbing, definitely loving that Charvel.

  • All this time I've been pronouncing it ch-are-val when it's really shar-velle

    I feel like a hick.

  • LOL tremolo abuse i love this guy

  • This vid makes me wish I'd put K100s in my Mesa cabs back when I had a Roadster. A lot of broad sizzle there. :D

  • Ned Flanders Shreds ha ha ha!!!!

  • sounds a bit like priest..

  • hot

  • Hey David, great demo!Beszelsz magyarul?:)

  • @LPFan3118 Thank you. And I can speak a little bit, but really lost the language as a child growing up in the U.S. When I was a young student, I was teased in school for "switching" languages and one day told my mother I no longer wanted to learn Hungarian. Because she was forced to learn Russian - and disliked that - during her school days, she didn't want to force any language on me. It's unfortunate and I wish I was fluent since it's part of our family heritage.

  • Another great one David. I can not express myself enough but I am so glad to see LT broadcasting videos. Great job!!!

  • @cakire82 Thanks for the kind words. I'll do my best to keep them coming.

  • That Mesa sounds fantastic. Good playing, too. Keep the demos coming.

  • @GTF425 Thanks for the kind words. Definitely looking forward to doing more at some point for sure with other gear. The Mesa is night and day different with the change from the V30 to G12K-100 speakers. I think Diezel was on to something as they've done the same thing.

  • @LegendaryTones I was really thinking about picking up a Mark V combo and replacing the speaker with one of those Celestion's. A lot of people have nothing but good things to say about them and I'd like to give them a try myself.

  • @GTF425 Just make sure you have an opportunity to try one out before putting out the cash. I've owned a few MK series and they were all very difficult to dial-in. When I got them going. The tone stack structure is what makes them very different. If you do go with a MK, I highly recommend the head and closed back cabinet. The combo will be extremely boxy sounding. I've had a MK I, MKIIC, MKIV, 2 Ch. early Dual Recto, Tremoverb and Rectoverb.

  • lol you look like Bruce Willis in this video, good demo tho.

  • @Rushworshiper92 Hehe... I'll take that as a compliment; besides, he was married to Demi Moore :)
