  • Miki's full of ups and downs, but that just makes watching her so much more memorable. I certainly did not expect Miki at that time to be able to qualify for the GPF and even go so far as to challenge the quad.

    I think she has pushed past the demons (again, the first one was in Torino) now, and I can't wait to see her rise again at Japanese Nats and beyond.

  • Miki is no stranger to pain, but she shows true sportsmanship, even if the pain was greater that it renders her unable to perform as usual. I can sympathize with Miki. In pale comparison, Tonya Harding didn't show pain, but she was crying when her boot fell apart during her performance.

  • Dude, you can really stop leaving this comment on every video on YouTube about Miki's 2008 Worlds long. Miki is a fighter, and she really wanted to try to prove to herself that she can still come back and redeem herself after and okay short. She won the title last year, and probably felt like she would dissapoint her country if she withdrew.
