Out of curiosity are the pre 2007 supercharged mini's faster than the new turbocharged ones in terms of 0-60mph? id assume that they are really similar, but at low rpm in 4th or 5th gear... id guess the supercharger would be more effective than the turbocharger due to turbo lag... but yeah i don't know and im curious! someone advise me! haha

@RWL2011 Yeah, I'm unsure when they added that screen in the speedo, but I do know that it's an option. I have a friend who said he actually prefers to not have the speedo in the steering wheel, but in his car it's not quite in the center like the mini's is, it's a bit off to the driver side and up closer to the window which I'm sure is nice. I did hear about the digital speedo, but I'm not sure if it's on all models. Anyways nice car to learn in, though probably can't have fun with it =/.

@RWL2011 Well the main things I don't like is the flip switches for windows and fog lights and such. Also the huge speedometer right in the middle bothers me. Though I'd be willing to look past that because I still think Minis are awesome, but as for 07 and on I'm not sure how much I'd care for the turbos with turbo lag and all. Either way I'd have to test drive a few first.

It's turbocharged, not supercharged. The scoop is for the turbocharger intercooler.

HOw does the gas cap lock? Can you open it without a key or some release valve because then someone can put sand or water in... siphoning gas is the least worries in some areas of my city. Haha

Wow, I never thought of mini coopers as a car I would like but after seeing this, I actually like them. The style of the interior is really cool. And I would not have noticed the pattern of the buttons if you hadn't pointed it out (I actually had to rewind and look again to see it lol). The manual transmission completes the awesomeness.
