How about you drive the speed limit? Then you won't have to worry about "whether you can tell or not." If you can't drive without speeding, don't drive.
To be honest I'm a speed limit rider. Time and time again I have people hard up my backend around schools; one nuttcase even decided to overtake on the inside of me about a year ago! Good advert which gets the message across.
