  • lysics should be as follows: Old Scotch mother mine, you are with me all the whlie, Your kind old eyes and you're dear sweet smile Though we're far apart, for the sake of auld lang sine, God bless and keep you, old scotch mother mine. In an old scottish home that is dear to my mind, Lives an old scottish mother so gentle and kind, Trouble and care may have wrinkled her brow,] But with thoughts warm and tender I think of her now (Ch as above)

  • Just love your playing Graham, is it possible to purchase some of your music? I was born and raised near Invergordon in the highlands. I have been in Australia for a long time now and your music brings back many memories. Many thanks.....Ian

  • Sorry Ian, I don't have any music available commercially. Maybe someday when I can afford it.

  • Oh this reminds me of my autie Margaret who sang this to my scots granny. Lovely it takes me back with a wee tear in my eye. Do you know if anyone sings this as I would love to sing this to my mother?

  • Many artists have recorded this song and it can easily be found on google. Joe Gordon & Sally Logan, Glen Daly, Callum Kennedy amongst others

  • Thanks for that, I will do a search.

  • I've been listening to Scottish music for almost 70 years, and I can say hand on heart that I've never heard anyone play this so beautifully as Graham. For a person with no training this is just sensational. I've listened to so many people over the years, and Graham, you're one of the few that can make me cry because your music is so beautiful.

  • Thanks Heather, I really appreciate your comments
