but i saw the program files folder in the windows.old folder, that means your programs are still instact with the system? no reinstalling? :) great video btw :D
lol considering microsoft are a very wealthy company, who have been heavily criticised about their operating systems lately, which has caused people to remain to xp.
you would think they would have invested some time and money, with all the programmers they have, to make it simple to upgrade from xp to windows 7.
Yeah you can but unless you have a pirated version, why would you want to? it will just beg you to keep registering it and after 10 days of not doing so, it will start kicking you off.
I am so going to get this now but I'm only getting the premium as the others are a little to high for me and I wouldn't even use all those features anyways. Thanks a lot though for the video.
Now when you say games do you mean actual games? If so you cant move those those over. They will have to be reinstalled. You can move game saves a such over but the games themselves will have to be reinstalled
I did this with vista and for free and im only 10 :D

lol considering microsoft are a very wealthy company, who have been heavily criticised about their operating systems lately, which has caused people to remain to xp.
you would think they would have invested some time and money, with all the programmers they have, to make it simple to upgrade from xp to windows 7.

Can you run windows 7 on your computer without entering the product key?
Unicity76 2 years ago
Yeah you can but unless you have a pirated version, why would you want to? it will just beg you to keep registering it and after 10 days of not doing so, it will start kicking you off.

Yes but when you switch on your computer will it give you a option what operating system you want to use eg windows 7, windows xp.
And will it save the accounts all setup rady to use with windows 7.
And will it let you to use your old operating system folders

I am so going to get this now but I'm only getting the premium as the others are a little to high for me and I wouldn't even use all those features anyways. Thanks a lot though for the video.

They should run even better on 7. They do for me and I have 4 GB of ram.

i love it and this will sound stupid but will it work from vista to 7??? im sure it will work but u no you should make that clear
Kypatz 2 years ago
The video is for xp to 7 not vista to 7. Just ask a question like everyone else. Yes it will work from Vista to 7 if you choose to take that path.

So even large files like games and such will be moved over as well?
shadewraith 2 years ago
If they are in the appropriate folders then they will be moved over
Xuxa16 2 years ago
@Xuxa16 What folders do they need to be in?
shadewraith 2 years ago
Now when you say games do you mean actual games? If so you cant move those those over. They will have to be reinstalled. You can move game saves a such over but the games themselves will have to be reinstalled
