Throughout Surah 9, the word idolator or non-believer is used to refer to a specific group of non-believers in Mecca who violated their treaty with the Muslims. 9:123 is a command to the muslims to kill a specific group of people who were at war with them; it is not a command to kill all non-believers. Also, in 2:256, the Qur'an clearly supports religious freedom.
I and many others have quoted verbatim hundreds of Suras in the Quran and the Hadiths showing clearly that ur Mohammed and his associated Allah urge Muslims to Kill, Kill, Kill.

Throughout Surah 9, the word idolator or non-believer is used to refer to a specific group of non-believers in Mecca who violated their treaty with the Muslims. 9:123 is a command to the muslims to kill a specific group of people who were at war with them; it is not a command to kill all non-believers. Also, in 2:256, the Qur'an clearly supports religious freedom.

Really most Muslims are moderate? I'd like to see people like this fellow and his brother Muslims fight against the evil Muslims in his midst who use the Islamic religion for evil purposes. That's what I would expect from moderate Muslims. I'd expect it from moderate Christians, Hindus and Jews if those communities had SIGNIFICANT numbers of terrorists running around killing people. You can't ignore that the Islamic community has a real problem with extremism right now.
