@TheDrakesmith34 most who buy android phone never root it nor do lots of things with apps developed by individuals. they end up keeping the original user interface. there's plenty people who could do well with older os. symbian also has apps developed by private individuals. well n8 is also already bit old so in that case it doesn't compete with current phones anyway. if u're one to buy new phone like every 5y or less then n8 would've been a great purchase at the time it came out

Nokia is MUUUCH better than sony ericsson, Nokia N8 has hdmi, fm transmitter, 12mpxl camera, xenon flash, plus you can charge the N8 with micro-usb AND nokia charger! sony ericsson dont have any of that. I can download every game from Android Market and OviStore with my N8, sony ericsson can just download games from android market.

Who gives a shit for an FM transmitter, the arc has HDMI. Arc can be charged with a micro USB and a charger. You can't get shit from the android market, and if you do that shit 600mhz and poor symbian optimization will only play games like tetris. The screen is shit, colors are horrible when watching videos. Its ugly fat, and if i wanted a camera i would have bought one, cause thats all the nokia is good for.

@ccaian1 Fail, I can download games from Android Market! If you have internet everything is possible. My N8 runs Need For Speed: World, Online!! I can play minecraft, Call of duty, Minebuilder, and all kinds of games i've downloaded. Nokia N8 is still better than the Arc.

It also lags more than the nokia, the internet is slow, even cause i use Wi-Fi, and It has a 16gb memory card... + I also have a Zte Blade, the ZTE is cheap so ofcourse its not good, the internet lags pretty much on that too, you have to wait 2minutes to watch a short movie on youtube...

I call this comparison bullshit, The image stabilization is not activated on the Arc while it is on the N8. Knowing the Arc is constantly autofocusing it obvious all those jiggles can only lead to a blurry image.

Arc colors are not real, look at the grass on N8, it is uniform and detailed while in ARC grass it's covered up with greenish dust like layer.

i have had a secondary camera for the last 18 months which i never used... before that on my k800i i used it once...

personally i dont give a shit about a front camera...

I tested the n8 in the shop it the OS was disgusting complete garbage!!!

But on my first day with the Arc I downloaded more than 50 apps for free from the market place i love this place...

AND THE CAMERA DIFFERENCE IS TOO SMALL!

@m4kanfar I really don't know the exmore technology, I don't know those 2 phones in details, but from the video I can say that N8 has way better image quality.. just look at that green at the ARC... it's glowing and it's so ugly compared to N8, and if the difference of that videos are really just Mpx related, then why they didn't put 12Mpx sensor into ARC?
