  • Are FragranceX and Bestbuyerdiscounts trustworthy? They have good prices.

  • Hi, can you tell me if the Creed Boutique online is legit? I have no clue. Thanks for the info!

  • @tedfio1tedfio1 seriously ? yeah its legit that's creed official site, that's like asking if nike is legit .. shrugs ..

  • he looks like he smells goooood:P

  • I'll have to buy a bottle of this, heard nothing but good reports on it. I'll be going to Harrods, London for mine.

  • u should do reviews man/

  • The Green Irish Tweed bottle I bought from Fragrancenet I cannot see through at all. It also has an all black cap, no white. There is a serial number though. So unless Fragrancenet is selling fake Creeds, something isn't correct about the differences...

  • @keenanjpn

Couple things ive learned in doing my research on this, and owning GIT myself. You cannot see through the bottle. It is not purple, it matte black. With the Creed logo and the letters on the front being raised letter gloss black. If you look closely at the top of the cap, youll see its a two piece. The Creed logo is well defined, whereas its not on the fakes. Some of the bottles from fragrancenet have the serial numbers ground off and painted over. Thats ok, thats to hide the source

  • @sjrtx - How good is it? I use Diamonds at the moment and it's subtle with a good lasting effect, is creed similair? Cheers.

  • @keenanjpn

Also, does the sprayer say Creed on it? When you spray a creed it has a very LONG pump that puts out a LOT of spray. The fakes dont have this. And also the smell- sample one from neiman, then sample your own. They should smell the same.

  • Thanks for this video, I was very close to buying a bottle from ebay. So you would recommended fragrancenet?

  • i have a creed Cologne is a clear bottle and on the bottom is says green irish creed !! but its not black like that bottle

  • hey great vid really helps. and for the serial number does it have just numbers or both numbers and letters?

  • so fragrance net would see authentic creeds?

  • @eciIa89 Yes

  • @eciIa89 Yes

  • Hey, thanks for the great info/headsup. Take care.

  • @Haroythere You are welcome

  • Hey bud- Sorry I'm like a year late on this, but thanks for the shout-out! Send me a message about your current fragrance favorites!

  • @sluttyfrogmagician You are welcome. My favorites haven't really changed much since then.

  • Thank you BM. I finally find someone who takes the time to help others. I am currently in Asia, and finding Creed like the lottery. do you know a good website that sells the good one? Thanks much. I know how you feel I purchased three, and they were all fake.

  • @donpolardo1 You are welcome

  • Good video!

  • @Chrispy461 Thank you

  • pimpin

  • @MrROTD lol

  • I bought mine and it had everthing the "real" creed would have, ie; Serial number on back, the white cap underneath the cap, the Made in France with it looks like HP and a 5 or S on the sides, and also the cap looks like the real symbol of creed. BUT, the bottle is pitch black and not the "purpleish"...can anyone verify if this is fake or real? thanks

  • @spencer2986 The bottle is pitch black, but when you hold it to a light, it wil be purpleish. You can see it best at the top part of the bottle.

I buy my Creed from a certified dealer, so I just checked the real thing.

  • I would always be very wary about puchasing Creed fragrance online, especially if it's at a reduced price, I don't know if it's the case in other countries but in the UK genuine Creed retailers are not allowed to sell Creed over the internet, you are allowed to advertise it but not sell it.

  • @scentstore I learned from my mistakes and know where to get them now.

  • @scentstore Try CheapSmells on line, they were on the level and my Irish tweed arrived in 4 days in magnificent condition.

  • Great videos mate. Love Creed but its pricey here in England but worth it. Cheers for your Info. Take care

  • @chopperg1966 Thank you Chopper

  • @chopperg1966 I bought a couple of bottles of 120ml Creed Green Irish tweed from cheap smells based in Guernsey on line. The cost including postage was £90.90p, it's worth every penny, legit, and it arrived at my business in 4 days. Best spray i've ever had.

  • I bought Green Irish Tweed from Nieman Marcus. So I know I got the real deal. It's my favorite. Other Creeds are ok, I tested some at the Nieman's in Chicago when I visited there. Be sure you buy from a legit place. Niemans has sale exlucivity with Creed.

  • @MisterBinx They don't have exclusivity. I bought Mine at Nordstrom's and at Lord & Taylor's. Nordstrom was the first to sell creed in the US. 3 years ago

  • HEy bro. Do u still use Himalaya if so what do u think of it. does it smell synthetic. i've been thinking about getting it. how long does it last?

  • ya tim aka tswetcoff does an excellent job on cologne reviews. I got him on my subs. and he's the one that got me into finding/collecting colognes

  • good shit man, lovin' the sax up in there. keep it up.

  • I was at Neiman Marcus today and the GIT they sold wasn't see through.

  • If you look at the BOTTOM surface of the bottle of Green Irish Tweed, it will have moulded into the actual glass the very fine, and barely visible words Paris, Made in France and Creed with the cross. You may have to wet the bottom of the bottle to see this, or rub it with a cloth to make it visible. If you have a fine sense of touch, you will be able to actually feel the embossment of these letters. You can tell an actual Creed bottle in the dark, blindfolded, by feel alone.

  • I buy original Creed perfumes on eBay: search "allshewants" seller.

I 've bought several times and all Creeds are 100% originals. Sometimes they are tester but the seller always make it clear if it is the case.

I have just received my last order, here in Italy: Erolfa and the sublime (for me) Green Irish Tweed.

  • i also got fucked in the ass when I bought creeds imperial milesmine on e bay. Never fucken buy creed on ebay, peace

  • Anyone who would purchase expensive cologne on EBay or in Chinatown/Koreatown is asking to get fooled. Also, the kiosks at shopping malls that always have Indian guys working at them sell questionable Creed as well. I don't know if it is fake or watered down, but in the mall, they sell it for $100/bottle and won't let you smell it before buying it. It seems like these people get away with it every time on EBay or in the malls, which is frustrating.

  • Great info. I got burned on Ebay too. The fake GIT smelled like hell -- like something Axe would have rejected.

  • i got tricked on ebay 2 when i was buying a millisme imperial for my uncle

  • anywhere in west end LONDON ?? can i get these what shops ?

  • I don't know where in London they would carry Creed. Creed's website may be able to help you there.

  • hey black mambax if you like creed you should also try tom fords private blend the best ones tom ford has are one that is called shmpaka and tabbacco venila those are pretty good also not to dis you but the only ones that i think creed has that are good is viren island and silver back mountin!

  • Different strokes for different folks. The tobacco vanilla sounds interesting though.

  • Great information, Blaq. I personally love Creeds, but have been very reluctant to actually purchase GIT due to the fact it has been counterfeited so many times. But with your review, I can purchase with confidence.

What do you think they put in the Green Irish Tweed fakes? Cool Water, possibly?

Anyway, keep up the good work. I love the jazz in the background, btw.

  • I'm thinking Cool Water. Whatever it is, it smells good. Even though I'm not really familiar with Cool Water, everyone says that they are both very similar in the opening notes.

Thanks for the compliment and for your commentary.

  • so the one on fragrancenet is real right

  • So far, I've purchase Tabarome Millesime, Silver Mountain Water, and Bois du Portugal from Fragrancenet. Everyone of them has been real. Also, if I ever encounter a problem with my scents, I have gone and consulted with their customer service.

Fragrancenet cannot afford to sell fakes. If they do, Basenoters and perfume aficionados online won't purchase from them. And that is a large amount of their customer base.

  • thanks so much for the info. I want to the mall the day b4 yesterday and they was selling the creed 4 oz for like 250. but thanks alot. will be ordering some soon

  • Good info. keep it up.

  • Thank you.

  • Thanks for the heads up. I'm literally on ebay right now about to purchase the sample mini vials. Besides going to Neiman Marcus is there any other place I can purchase it online and pay a ton for it?

  • Instead of purchasing the samples, if there is a Neiman Marcus or Saks near you that carries Creed, they should be able to make you samples if they don't have any of the official pre-filled samples at no charge.

And did you actually want to pay a ton for Creed?

  • I just came from Neiman Marcus today. The Green Irish Tweed smells just like the samples I purchased from Ebay. I really like the Silver Mountain Water though. If possible I wouldn't want to pay $100 plus for it, which it normally goes for, but I will if I have to. Do you know any places online that sells the real versions for a little cheaper? They didn't have anymore samples so I would have to purchase them from Ebay. I ended up buying the new Gucci by Gucci.

  • Hm, they should've been able to make you a sample if they didn't have any. I guess that differs from store to store.

I doubt that there is any authentic Creed that goes for less than that amount....except maybe the 1oz bottles. But two reputable sites online are Fragrancenet and Scentiments...personally I use Fragrancenet. I heard that even Costco, yes Costco, has select Creeds at discounted prices.

  • Are you from NYC? Cause in "korean town" at 34h street they sell creed cologne for a lot cheaper. around $100 a bottle. I can't tell by the box itself and i am not able to open it cause it is brand new and wrapped. Is there anyway that i can tell its fake before i do buy it?

  • those are definitely fake. if you find a $200 bottle of cologne for $100 AND its at a dingy little place, it's not genuine. creed only sells their fragrances to high end boutiques and places like Neiman Marcus.

  • Maiden Voyage in the background! Nice!

  • Thank you.

  • You should never buy a high quality product off the internet. My friend actually bought the irish tweed off ebay and i quickly pointed it out to him that it was a fake. Although the bottle did have a serial number on it the actual smell was different. Actually I think it was the coolwater in a creed bottle. lol

  • You're never wrong.

  • Just bought creed 30ml EDT from ebay, small bottle, not black but transparent. Theres serial number in the back of the bottle. Everything seems in order. But it smells LOT like Lacoste PourHomme ?? Bought stick also, the scent stick inside is like yellowish filled with small greenish dots?

  • I don't know anything about the scent stick, but if your bottle has the serial number you may have gotten lucky. Then again, I've read that only the 4 oz bottles are more likely to be faked and that you have better luck with the smaller sizes.

Also Tweed is said to resemble Cool Water. I think it smells a little like Aspen myself.

  • Good call dude, Bois du Portugal is pretty ridiculous; probably my favorite as of now. I have not tried Acier Aluminum yet, but I have heard good things about it. Cool video man; take it easy.

  • Thank you for your response. Bois Du Portugal is my second all time favorite behind Chrome. I'm having to resist using it so much because I would never get rid of the other thousand colognes that I already have.

  • is the irish tweed cologne really as good as people say? which is the best site to buy it from?

  • Well it is said to be the best selling Creed fragrance. And if you are familiar with Cool Water, they say that they are similar fragrances.

Fragrancenet and Scentiments are two reputable sites to buy from at a discounted price. Personally I buy from Fragrancenet.

  • does it smell lemony and scented baby powder? i remember smelling this on someone is it the same frag?

  • I do a lot of buying/selling on basenotes. I have 23+ feedback at 100% and I recently bought a authentic Creed BdP 2.5 oz. for $65. I, by far, find the best deals on BN. My name is "TheAttorney" on BN BTW in case you decide to check it out.

  • All you need bud. :)

  • Yep. I am a Creed fan for life now. I'm really feeling Bois Du Portugal and Acier Aluminium right now.

  • oh wow you got on a button down, looks nice on you.

It's good know the difference between real and fakes.

  • Thanks for the compliment.

If only I had did my research first instead of hastily making a purchase... But at least I know now.

  • I love a man who knows how to step his game up with some "smell goods" lol

I'm gonna have to check out that Creed...seems like it smells really nice.

  • They have female Creed fragrances. If you are interested in sampling them, Neiman Marcus carries them and I think Saks Fifth Avenue may as well.

  • I knew you were a smell good fan. I could tell!

  • Yes ma'am! I love to smell good for y'all...and myself.

  • Dude, thanks for the recommendation! I'm gonna try that!!!

  • You're welcome Dawg!

  • WOW, I didnt know it was that serious bout "smell good" to make fakes like that. I guess I didnt know. You really kno your stuff, Ive been got a few times on ebay and now I dont even mess wit em (sellin' fakes)

-Im gonna have to step up my smell good game.

    QUESTION: Does cologne expire?

  • I didn't either until I came across it on Basenotes. All of the information that I gave in the video came directly from that site.

ANSWER: I think it's all about how you store it. On the site they say that Green Irish Tweed and Millesime Imperial are notorious for "going stale" after a few years. These are my first Creeds so I can't talk from experience. I've had a few other fragrances change scent after some time, but then again I didn't store them properly. Keep out of direct sunlight.

  • Thanks for the shout-out man! Haha, made my day. Much appreciated!

  • You are welcome sir. You are the man.

  • Hehe, thanks...much appreciated! But YOU are the man! :) Thanks for the Chrome!

  • Damn serial numbers, black, compared to white tops you better do your research. I don't even want to post a update. Great job.

  • You would change your mind. Thanks for watching and commenting though.

  • Oh you found Herbie Hancock's 'Maiden Voyage'.

  • Yes sir. I found it.
