  • This does not show what to do. I've been working on this hot pad forever and I just can't get it.Her directions are not complete.Need to know more.

  • What she's showing is you Single Crocheting along one side as an edging. Then continuing the 2nd half JOINING in the middle on each one. Just a sc join.

    Once you've done that, take your thread and slip through your sc edge to the middle and pull through, moving on to the next square etc. You're making a huge basting stitch (think sewing) and when done, you PULL the thread tight, cinching the squares together. Tie it off and flip over to fold the corners to make the "flower" center.
