Part one----a M6 ist just a litle faster than a m5...between 2-3 car lenghs at the speed from 50-270...the only way that a m5 is faster then a M6 is first: u have modification, second : the M6 is convertible ( that means 175 kg havier then the m5) or the third: u got a very god exemplar-->>> that means, not every stock (original) car has the same power...for example: i had 531.9 HP on the dyno, and a friend of me at the same dyno 515....bothe car stock...

Part two----so for example, if u have a god exemplar M5 with 530 HP and u race againts a M6 (not that good exemplar) with just 500 HP so u will be litle faster.but 90% of the Cars (M5&M6) have 507-520 HP....so 3% have less than 507 HP (official HP from BMW) and 7% have more than 520 HP.Now we can say that "normally" a M6 is litle faster than a M5, no discusion about that.They have the same engine, the same transmission, but the M6 is 70 kg lighter than a M5.just think !!! especially "4brigade".

M5 > Saloon: 1,820 kg (4,012 lb),

Touring: 1,955 kg (4,310 lb)

that might be or might not be right........coz i got an M5 with Meistershcaft exhaust on it only and i raced M6 with the exact same exhaust on n couldn't stand a chance with me.
