It's one thing to see them in pictures. But seeing them on film,for me it just makes them so much more real,you know? And at the same time it breaks my heart.
This is truly amazing. I have never seen that clip from Romania. I loved when Maria got up and held the baby. The pictures from this visit show what a pretty girl she was. No wonder Prince Carol liked her.
@hatelizwebber : One has always read of Maria's love of children...but here we see it for ourselves. The moment the photo is taken, she flies over to take Prince Mircea into her arms. I wonder if she was holding him before the photo as well and went to reclaim him? This young woman's beauty, inside and out , knew no bounds. God bless you Marie!
