But looking back over 7 years later, it still stands as an extremely memorable and awesome game. @jamesxkxklass3 yes i like it in some other games too, but it depends on the game. The pick if girl or boy is the first step of influence in the whole game, and in those mystic RPGs i like to just "fall in" the game, and change the world :D but everybody likes it different :)
Better yet, have Fable 4 concentrate on re-establishing the long-dead Heroes' Guild. You're a distaff cousin to the king, and a hero in your own right. Show the industrial Albion that Strength, Skill, and Will reign supreme still. Bring back the Heroes.
Instead of Theresa being your guide, have the spirit of Weaver (The old Guildmaster from Fable 1) guide your character. You gotta bring back Reaver, though, lol.

They should really fill in the gap as to what happened in the 500 years in between Fable 2 and Fable: TLC. How did Theresa become ageless? What led to the guild's destruction? Why did the worship of Avo and Skorm cease to exist? So many questions unanswered....
fable 2 & 3 were 2 of the biggest disappointments for me. especially 2, and I tried to look at fable 3 from a different perspective, but I think the big mistake Lionhead made was the whole "lone hero" bit. What I loved about Fable 1 is how it was a world where heroes were the norm and were everywhere. Then they killed off all of them and made it so you were the only hero left : / it just lost the feel of it

@MainHeretic I agree. It was a little stupid for them to kill off all the heroes and the guild in only the second game. Now, on the third game, you are the only hero in the world, it seems like, and the plot just keeps getting more and more constricted, because anyone in the next game (if there is one) can only be descended from that hero or a few others with heroic blood that we do not know about.
@AitoHidenori They didn't "kill off" the Heroes of Albion; they simply faded away with the destruction of the guild. Nobody sought to rebuilt it or reteach what they (the Heroes) knew because as time progressed people stopped believing in Will and Mysticism in favor of progress and Technology (see: Firearms).
II and III show this, especially III as the enemies refer to will as "magic"; which solidifies that people don't even acknowledge Will anymore.

I meant Lionhead got rid of the Guild and the heroes way too quickly if they had planned to build a long term franchise similar to the first Fable; since they got rid of the Guild and the organization of heroes by only the second game along with jumping ahead so far in time, my point is I cannot imagine how they can continue the plot much further while maintaining architecture like the original game. if u use dragon age to compare, fable is just............
but i know is not fair if i use dragon age to compare, many things is hard to have a balance, dragon age maybe have a much better story, much more dialog, but many funny thing u can find in fable but dragon age cant. such like u will fat if u eat too much, rent a house etc.

They should really fill in the gap as to what happened in the 500 years in between Fable 2 and Fable: TLC. How did Theresa become ageless? What led to the guild's destruction? Why did the worship of Avo and Skorm cease to exist? So many questions unanswered....

fable 2 & 3 were 2 of the biggest disappointments for me. especially 2, and I tried to look at fable 3 from a different perspective, but I think the big mistake Lionhead made was the whole "lone hero" bit. What I loved about Fable 1 is how it was a world where heroes were the norm and were everywhere. Then they killed off all of them and made it so you were the only hero left : / it just lost the feel of it

Fable 4 should go a little old school. Maybe have Scythe from TLC come back. Or, the Spirit of Weaver (the Guildmaster) should have you re-establish the Guild.

@MainHeretic I agree. It was a little stupid for them to kill off all the heroes and the guild in only the second game. Now, on the third game, you are the only hero in the world, it seems like, and the plot just keeps getting more and more constricted, because anyone in the next game (if there is one) can only be descended from that hero or a few others with heroic blood that we do not know about.

@AitoHidenori They didn't "kill off" the Heroes of Albion; they simply faded away with the destruction of the guild. Nobody sought to rebuilt it or reteach what they (the Heroes) knew because as time progressed people stopped believing in Will and Mysticism in favor of progress and Technology (see: Firearms).
II and III show this, especially III as the enemies refer to will as "magic"; which solidifies that people don't even acknowledge Will anymore.

@pbrad08 I did not mean kill off as in the plot. I meant Lionhead got rid of the Guild and the heroes way too quickly if they had planned to build a long term franchise similar to the first Fable; since they got rid of the Guild and the organization of heroes by only the second game along with jumping ahead so far in time, my point is I cannot imagine how they can continue the plot much further while maintaining architecture like the original game. But thanks for the...additional information.
