I just think its amazing that when i really think about it there were people thousands of years ago providing us with all this knowlege that we now have. And whats so amazing is that there was no technology, no cell phones, computers ect. Just the Parethenon alone being built by hand. They had no cranes or buldozers. And on top of all that you have people with philosopy, math. This kind of stuf needs to be on the history channel!
Wow, I have completely fallen in love with this music or rather with its (as I suppose) Greek lyrics!! Could you tell me the artist and name of the song please?
There is an interesting non-mainstream theory of Indo-European people. The name of that is I think The Indo-European Paleolithic Continuity Theory. This is more sensible. Each of the Indo-European language groups is at the very least 7000 years older than the nationalistic kites who created the theory thought. The so called Proto-Celtic language is about 10,000 years old. Greek too. Before we created city states, we were paleolithic people, spoke the same langs. No I.E. invasion at all.
If someone thinks that Greek is the origin of the European languages, they have no idea in what way languages change. The Germanic language family is probably as old as Greek, Italic/Celtic, Slavic. Brater touos esmi. Labarajo senom keltikom.
@MaBu888 just to let u know bitch.... GERMAN IS A LANGUAGE WHICH WAS BASED ON GREEK IN TERMS OF THE WRITING SYSTEM... GERMANS WANTED TO MAKE A LANGUAGE THAT WOULD BE JUST AS PERFECT AS GREEK... GO MAKE A RESEARCH ONLINE FAG
Greek and then Chinese are the oldest LIVING languages of humanity, which are still spoken and written, for thousands of years. There were many other languages Sumerian, Egyptian, Akkadian , Hittite but these are dead for thousands of years. Others, such as Sanskrit, Latin, or Slavonic, are also non-continuous. Sanskrit for today's India, Latin for today's Italy and Slavonic for today's Russia are completely different languages. Greek for today's Greece is still the same LIVING language
Greek has a documented history of 8,000 years, the longest of any single natural language.
It is still spoken today and written in the same letters, making it the world's oldest recorded living language.
Today, it is spoken by approximately 20-25 million people around the world.
Greek has been written in the Greek alphabet (oldest continuously used alphabet, and the first to introduce vowels) since 6000 BC (see newly discovered tablets, my friend's OrionasGR7 video on the subject).
your video showing the discovery of almost 8000 years old Hellenic writing "AYDH" with the Alpha, Ypsilon , Delta, is incredible. The phoenician lie and the indo-European propaganda are about to collapse!!
because Greek is a special language, all prayers must be written in Greek with english translations!
