  • De pronto siento ganas de pedalear

  • Lindo! lindo! lindo!. This song became the March for the major Uruguay bicycle tour.

  • I'm 13 and I like this song

  • Y la parte de los campeones del pedal donde esta???

  • good song

  • porque la vuelta... es la vuelta...

  • people either loved him or hated him, they used to say---I had parents in each camp! The anti attitude is hard to understand today. I think some people resented him doing all his own vocals; though I believe most people found him to be a pretty nice guy in person. To me, his records, just like this one, have superb arrangements and instrumentation. He would be flattered to

know that people are still enjoying his

78s after all these years and in such a new medium as You Tube.

  • The original teenage hearrthrob, the Zac Efron of his, day, and of the pre-Bing band era. Take THAT, Frank Sinatra!:)

  • Rudy did it first! Great to see his ever-growing fan base here on YouTube... ;)

    Best,

    -RR

  • For some reason ,I could not rate you're Video.

  • Thanks for the excellent video response--I appreciate it!

  • I love the Romantic Rudy I have discovered on YT but for some reason, I always thought Rudy looked so collegiate. Love these lyrics that he wrote showing his great sense of humor. I can just see those college kids in their in the 30's listening to this....what a difference from the students? of today.. how things have changed!:) Thank you RR for revealing another Rudy persona!

  • An amazing entertainer! Yes, genia, things have changed--and will again change for the better. "The fundamental things apply", and so forth. ;)

Do see the "Betty Co-Ed" Betty (Boop?) cartoon on the right--Rudy makes an extended live appearance with the bouncing ball.

  • Hi RR, Thank you for directing me. I watched the Betty Co-ed. It was so cute and so was Collegiate Rudy in his school sweater! You will think I am crazy but I think he resembles JFK in that clip. I hope I am not losing my mind. I did think JFK was very handsome.

  • Not crazy in the least, genia!

Rudy Vallee helped popularize the Ivy League, New England style in popular culture which JFK exemplified in the political arena (a generation later).

Also, Rudy's mom was Irish--which may help explain the physical resemblance. ;)
