I used to watch Behind the Beat religiously when it was on BBC 2 but I can't for the life of me remember the theme tune. I would love to see those old shows again.
It was pretty basic tune (think the PE whistle was in it mixed with funky drummer) but I remember it had the vocal refrain 'No other rhythm rides like Behind The Beat'
The theme song was humanoid by stacker humanoid. Old School Acid song back in the day, I have Behind The Beat on VHS, I will post a few clips on you tube soon.
Ourstanding, UK rap was competing pretty much toe for toe with the best the States was putting up at the time, no shit! London Posse, Cash Crew, Gunshot, Demon Boyz, Ruthless Rap Assassins, Hijack! Nearly brings a tear to my eye wondering when it all went so very wrong!
Classic.. the best mix was the kraftwerk sampling one (the model)

Saw Duke when he supported Salt N Pepa back in 1988 he blew them away.
I don't usually watch support acts but when I heard "Miracles" coming through in the bar before hand I had to go & see what it was all about.
