Another good Christian movie that I recently watched, which is almost as good as Fireproof, is called WWJD (what would Jesus do). Why is it that these moves can bring us to tears? However, I don't care if I cry....I am sick of all the violence on tv today and the news lately. Thank God for movies such as this one and others!

I don't really feel God alot of the time. But I will continue to believe even though I don't see what He's doing. He's got a plan, and even though I hate not being in control of things, I will wait and let Him lead me. True faith is believing in things which we do not feel/see/hear. God is my only hope. He isn't my last resort, He is my FIRST.
this song reminds me of the story of noah and the ark. GOD told him to make an ark but waited until he was an old man to bring the flood. in the mean time he was mocked, called crazy (hearing voices, etc.) but while he waited, he surved in any way he could and raised his family in that light.

It shows that people are human and need love and attention or they go to someone else or something else to get it.

I love fireproof , I mean when the commercial came up for it i though it was just gonna be a weird movie , but once i watched it , omg i realized that people have to choose on their own and people have to do it for themselves . Fireproof is my faveorite movie. I just recently got out of an engagement and I realized he was not living the life that I want. A life not following the Lord. This movie I saw when it first came out and it just has been sitting on my shelf, I've watched it a lot recently. I want my husband to love the Lord and love me as well. What a powerful movie!!!

@RevCarlosQ I disagree because God is so vast, and infinite, we truly cannot have a clue about Him. We may think we do, but what we know, understand, think about God is not even a drop in the bucket compared to who God really is, and what He is about.

This song (and video) brings tears to my eyes. It will always remind me how GREAT and AWESOME GOD truly is. JESUS is right there with us in the WORST times. We are never alone. I watched this movie when my marriage of 18 years appeared to be over. What was meant for my harm by the enemy was turned around by God for my good. Through my suffering, I drew so close to God. My daughter was born on 2/23/11 and was immediately placed under an oxygen dome, as well as IV and a feeding tube was inserted. All that's left is oxygen tube. She was born 34 days premature. The doctor said this morning she may get to go home on Friday. This morning, I was in the elevator singing this song, and I get into my car and this song was on the radio. God was telling me that everything's going to be okay.

I have seen the movie fireproof and have listened to this song many, many times and it has always had a meaning to me but it wasn't until recently that God told me to move myself out of the way so that he can begin working on my husband. It wasn't until recently that I began to worship while I wait, to wait patiently. Thank You God for speaking to me again and allowing me to hear your voice through this song!

I'm a grown man in my forties and weeped and watered up like a baby myself when Catherine started crying while walking away from the lady at the counter. Her heartfelt emotion overcame me when she was told that her husband had paid for her mother's home care equipment and with the money that Caleb had been saving up to purchase a boat.
I do believe in God....I've always prayed since I was little .I was saved miraculously by 2 hunters who found me in a canal with a broken neck and tied up floating with crocodiles and water snakes...and I survived because I prayed. I pray to God and I thank him for everything every day. I'ved had 2 car accidents where my car was totaled, and cancer. I do believe there is a GOD!!!

He will not force your wife into a decision to serve Him, she must come to that decision on her own. Mean time, pray for her!! Love her, like Caleb loved Catherine, putting her needs before your own. She like Catherine will eventually be won if she is "worth waiting for" , don't out God on a time table. Most importantly...get into the Word of God and renew your mind daily!

I have given my life to the lord, and married the love of my life, I took her in and her son whom is not biologically mine, but calls me daddy. I have been there for him since day one. we got marrie dlast year and I just found out only 3 weeks ago, that 2 months after we go married she cheated on me with an ex-boyfriend... I love fireproof , I mean when the commercial came up for it i though it was just gonna be a weird movie , but once i watched it , omg i realized that people have to choose on their own and people have to do it for themselves . I just want my parents to go through that kind of cycle . If they did , i wouldn't be this unhappy now :'(

Fireproof is my faveorite movie. I just recently got out of an engagement and I realized he was not living the life that I want. A life not following the Lord. This movie I saw when it first came out and it just has been sitting on my shelf, I've watched it a lot recently. I want my husband to love the Lord and love me as well. What a powerful movie!!!

Many of us have a clue and then some. we understand that He that made the universe, and gave us life...is waiting for the ones He gave His only begotten Son for to realize...they need more than this world can offer. And I myself me, have learned from this movie two things...1) Love is a choice NOT a feeling 2) many times I have given up on MY relationship with God but He never gave up on me. I wonder how dramatically different our lives would be if we could just see a glimpse of His glory? Our minds and imaginations can not get it because we have nothing to compare Him to. There is none like Him. It's kind of like trying to explain quantum physics to a four year old, they just don't have the capacity to grasp it.

I know my Father EXTENSIVELY though never exhaustively, I will pray He reveals Himself to you.

This song (and video) brings tears to my eyes. It will always remind me how GREAT and AWESOME GOD truly is. JESUS is right there with us in the WORST times. We are never alone. I watched this movie when my marriage of 18 years appeared to be over. What was meant for my harm by the enemy was turned around by God for my good. Through my suffering, I drew so close to God. My husband is walking with the Lord and going to church, prayers of 10 years answered. God is turning things around. Alleluia!

My daughter was born on 2/23/11 and was immediately placed under an oxygen dome, as well as IV and a feeding tube was inserted. All that's left is oxygen tube. She was born 34 days premature. The doctor said this morning she may get to go home on Friday. This morning, I was in the elevator singing this song, and I get into my car and this song was on the radio. God was telling me that everything's going to be okay.

I'm very new to christianity, but it seems to me that God works in unusual, unanticipated, miraculous ways.

Thankfully, my daugher is almost 6 months now, and she's as healthy as she could ever be. I still wouldn't wish what I went through on any parent, or what she went through on any baby.

This song is so powerful! I have seen the movie fireproof and have listened to this song many, many times and it has always had a meaning to me but it wasn't until recently that God told me to move myself out of the way so that he can begin working on my husband. It wasn't until recently that I began to worship while I wait, to wait patiently. Thank You God for speaking to me again and allowing me to hear your voice through this song!

I really don't get it why people will dislike great movie like this. Probably they watched it upside down.
This is one of the great movie i have in my family library. We have chosen to buy more of this movie and send them to family and friends, while we have our own copy both the book and the devotional have been instructing us.

I'm a grown man in my forties and weeped and watered up like a baby myself when Catherine started crying while walking away from the lady at the counter. Her heartfelt emotion overcame me when she was told that her husband had paid for her mother's home care equipment and with the money that Caleb had been saving up to purchase a boat.

I do believe in God....I've always prayed since I was little .I was saved miraculously by 2 hunters who found me in a canal with a broken neck and tied up floating with crocodiles and water snakes...and I survived because I prayed. I pray to God and I thank him for everything every day. I'ved had 2 car accidents where my car was totaled, and cancer. I do believe there is a GOD!!!

@bigsqirtboy I know how hard that can be, been there, done that. However I encourage you to seek the Lord even more. He will not force your wife into a decision to serve Him, she must come to that decision on her own. Mean time, pray for her!! Love her, like Caleb loved Catherine, putting her needs before your own. She like Catherine will eventually be won if she is "worth waiting for" , don't out God on a time table. Most importantly...get into the Word of God and renew your mind daily!

this movie makes me even more happy to be getting married in a month.it has made me see what it takes to have a good loving honest marriage. it takes work,and I see that. such a beautiful movie. I cried at then end when they worked everything out and saved there marriage. I will always keep my marriage strong and be faithful to my soon to be husband,and make sure I respect him and he needs as he does to me everyday.

Man this movie ("Fireproof") was on point, I really enjoyed it. There were strong and useful messages Christians can get from it. I suggest that you see if you haven't already.
"Facing the Giants" is another great movie with a good message in it.
