I was never a big fan of bulletins personally. But, i know they served a great purpose for some. Including yourself.

My disabling of ratings was partly done as a protest.

My views have gone down quite a lot recently. Whether that's a common thing, or a result of my ratings disabling i don't know.

I think YT has pissed a lot of people off by getting rid of the bulletins and we now have to actively search to find each others videos. That may sound trite, but time can be limited and it can take a lot of time to trawl through every subscribers' front page.

Ratings help, but are inferior to bulletins.

My wife, Realnutty01 posted a video yesterday and it was a hoot! It was a collab and as far as I'm concerned should have been open to many more people to watch it. Shame they can't now.

That one had me very worried for a bit! Fifteen hours later it's up to 41 views... I noticed a lot of vids going up on Friday, so I'm guessing that people just didn't get to it yet because their subscriber pages were flooded with stuff from everyone else...

And it's not just you, it's a commonly known issue across the board my friend, that everyone's views and comments have plummeted. Reason? So many issues with the NewTube I don't even know.

I do know that if you have a new video up, the amount of time on the subscription page is very limited then overshadowed by others.

Yeah absolutely, I know quite a few people that watch and comment. Ratings are pretty pointless as far hitting the top lists these days, but it seems to be one of only few tools left that allow exposure to small channels.

Thieves will be thieves. Caught them in the act though. Scared them, they ran. They couldn't have been more than 17. I suppose this has been going on since forever, but it was a first for me.

Also the comment section is a pretty good place to get noticed. I love browsing comment sections just reading what other people have to say. I know if I read something witty, I'll usually go check oout the channel of the poster. Is it only the new layout channels that have bulletins now?

If the recent activity or recent ratings was in a way a replacement for bulletins, I do wonder if they are speeding by faster than bulletins did - although that might just be my impression. Good food for thought there.

There was a bot a few months ago that would down rate people's videos (in the community) over 40 times. That might be a factor.

Good to see you back around i for better or worse allways leave ratings on my videos.I don't like the recent activity thing though to much info for ppl that don't want to even check out your videos they just go on to someone elses.But i do use it as you do sometimes if someones rated the same persons stuff high.

Actually a good area, takes just one bad apple. And believe it or not, a car popular with car thieves. The Chevy Caprice is one the most customizable cars out there.

Caught the guy in the act at 3:35 a.m. and was able to save 2 hubcaps and scare the hell out of him :)
