I certainly wouldn't call my sixth leveling ground in FF7 a bad one. After all, the enemies offer considerably more EXP than at any other time. The third one is probably a not-so-worthy one, however.
i just put all of my units in a + sign, with a monk in the middle, and have everyone use low damage attacks on him, then him chakra everyone for mana and health, and repeat while watching tv lol
I remember leveling up for about an hour per fight literally. All u have to do is let only one enemy live (critical condition) and have ur party acummulate the whole time.
That's what I tend to do. I also keep a very big stock of potions - 80 of them. I once had a battle lasting almost 2 hours due to 3 chocobos that can cure themselves. I'm actually mostly after JP.
The chocobos can be quite annoying with the choco cure but if you power break all your enemies with a knight and kill the tigers since they can poison you you can go to town on the chocobo or two because they are no threat to you with only 1 damage and it's a great way for the weaker ones in your party to level up with JP and exp.
Putting enemies to sleep and constantly stealing gil (and using Ramza's "yell" to boost speed and thus gil taken per turn and turns made), it's the most effortless way to level and gain JP. Just keep recasting sleep on the enemy and use the monk's chakra to keep MP in check. It's the easiest way of all to level up. See my "10 levels in 10 minutes" for an extreme case of this and its great benefits.
Ten years ago (or so) when I first tried this game, I struggled with the game's second battle, the one in the town. I never understood it and played it for maybe 15 hours before giving up. Back then, I didn't know anything about RPG games. It was until FF7 was played that this changed. FFT is a far more challenging version than FF7 or even FF1 in normal mode. With newfound knowledge, a few years later (when I was then making games), I gave it another try.
i remmeber like i used to not know how to place additional units, so in the first battle i juts put ramza down and delita was automatically in the fight and i was like how do you win this agme with just 2 guys?! :D
Even with 5 characters in the party (6 with Delita), I still struggled a lot with the battle in the town (the second one), because I struggled with getting the enemies defeated. Even on this play, before my videos were first recorded, I still struggled a lot. Now, with math skill, this game is practically effortless. If you haven't seen the last segment of the bug collection video (part 2 at the end), you'll see a case where I wipe out 7 enemies in a single action with flare and math skill!
ya i saw it was so sick. i dont do stuff like that tho, i know the game can be played taht way but i just try to make fun teams with cool stuff, haha. samurais and ninjas and random things : D
It's weird why you make all of these leveling spot videos when....they take WAY to much time, and it takes the challenge outta the game.
Why not level with the story....instead lets waste hours away at leveling at pre'mature spots....
I guess with tactics it's okay, but your ff7 level'ing spots were terrible.

How come there is no commentary on this video? I enjoy hearing what you have to say.

There's no need for it and if you could resolve the software issue, then it otherwise may have.
