It sounds Like the Mule playing Zep. It doesn't sound like Led Zeppelin, but they're not a tribute band.
I hope more people cover Led Zeppelin, that way the music doesn't die. How many people have played House of the Rising Sun? That song stays around becuase people play it. Everybody can play it, I wish Tangerine or Down by the Seaside were as popular!
not to take away from the attempt, it's cool to hear bands still take a kick at the can, and play some old Zep classics OTHER THAN..Rock N Roll, and Whole Lotta Love, however, Since I've Been Loving You was played by Zep with rising, and falling tempos, from slow & low, then gradually rising to fast & loud. This rendition is balls to the wall from start to finish, using many repetitive riffs. Nice number, but a mediocre cover at best.
you have no clue. there is no-one else out there who could even attempt to cover that song....live...in front of 80,000 people. do you realize they came on at midnight...and played for 3 1/2 hours that night. download the bonnaroo show from their sight....then make a comment!!!
PART SIX - I even managed to get ZOSO as my personal license plates before anyone else applied for it.
I traveled down to the States a few times to see The Firm (Page & Rogers), and rocked the Plant & Page " No Quarter" tour in Toronto Canada.
On a visit to my Aunt in England when I was 16, I went see Page (unannounced of course) at his mansion(the one in The Song Remains The Same) in Sussex England.
PART FOUR - Before YouTube, or file sharing I had collected over a hundred Zep bootlegs (I have live shows from EVERY tour they ever did from '68 to '80 - INCL. as New Yardbirds in '68).
I collected SUPER RARE live bootleg videos, rare posters / books / pictures.
Zeppelin is practically ALL I ever listened to, and practically ALL I ever played on my guitar(s) everyday/night for the first ten years (until Seattle scene exploded).
PART TWO - the fact about what TIME they went onstage at, or how LONG their set was, or how MANY people happened to be in the audience, is a moot point, and has NO bearing on how close their performance did, or did not resemble, Led Zeppelin's own renditions of their song Since I've Been Loving You !
I dont think thats right, baby! love it!!!

PART FIVE - I took time off from college, and toured in a Zeppelin cover band down in the States for a year.
I looked, found, and bought a Cherry Sunburst 1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard.
I purposefully used ALL same gear as Pagey (Marshall 100W HEAD W/ 4x12 Marshall cabinet, Cry Baby Wah Wah, Rack-Mount Delay pedal, violin bow, etc).

PART THREE
Ok, how is THIS for having a little clue..
I have been playing guitar since I was 12(21 years).
Page is my guitar hero/unofficial mentor.
I learned to play all Pages studio solos, then his live solos(INCL. full LIVE bow solo)

Well, I agree with you. It was an OK cover, but it just lacked subtlety.
