  • I have ALWAYS been a fan of chocolate. I have eaten loads of it over the years wen i was a kid and even now.

  • I remember most of these!

  • I remember these. This collection shows that even if you didn't like a particular product you could still enjoy the advert. And not a compensation commercial in sight too.

  • if you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit..... :P

  • These ads are from approximately 1987, I remember all of them! The reason I'm watching this in 2011 is purely for nostalgia and remembering my childhood, and because the majority of 2011 adverts are sh1te!

  • @themanmaschine I agree wholeheartedly!

  • How Much Of Us Are Actually Watching This In 2011 ?

  • THE BOOST ADVERT IS THE BEST ADVERT IVE EVER SAWD

  • @Rorykdy you shoulf go watch the old wotsits ads! they're awesome!! ....(they just don't make ads like they used to lol)

  • used to love the caramal advert they should bring it back x

  • ahh i could murder a can of 7up right now!!!

  • He was dipping into her purse at the end of the year the cheeky twatt!

  • I love the Caramel bunny and i remember the 7up cartoon, i was born in 88!

  • Is someone pulling your pilsner ? - brilliant ,love that advert

  • ohhh yeah!, the hot cadburys bunny!!!!

  • @ChrisRockSteady She was voted like the 2nd or 3rd hottest cartoon female recently, and there were human female toon contenders too. XD

  • I remember seeing the cadburys caramel one in the early 90's

  • Fido Dido. Was there ever a more pointless marketing ploy??

  • I dont remember the space lego sets. I must have moved on to technic when they came out.

  • Smart special help count. Beyond feast and the greenish. One can't count on pieish fantasmas or growling boost rabbits. Roast beef and pulling guilt.

  • Is it wrong that i fand the Cadburys Caramel bunny hot??!!!

  • @wrxjima yes

  • @the180darts ok, what about the mum from the finger of fudge advert!!

  • @wrxjima Naw. Lots of people agree with you. She was voted like the 2nd or 3rd hottest cartoon female recently, and there were human female toon contenders too. XD

  • Is it wrong that i find the Cadburys Caramel bunny hot?!!!

  • @wrxjima No

  • @MRSPIKE001 good lad!! :-)

  • OMG that Boost ad! Had forgotten all about that daft line "it's slightly rippled with a flat underside"

Wonder if they ever sold a chocolate bar in the US with that one

  • How well made is the Wizard of Oz Club advert? Fantastic!

  • d reg fizz bomb! haha

  • £4.95 for a shitty little karate kid figure no wonder my old man was a tight fisted old git.

  • fookin el! 59p for a pound of chicken! bet asda cant even roll that back that far lol

  • yeah they'd slip a few discs

  • OMG i bloody hate the milkybar kid why dosent some one just nuke him or hand him over to jigsaw?

  • I remember the Tennents one quite well. Good mix of adverts from what looks like late 1980s/early 1990s.

  • wait...the 7up guy is from the 80s?? cool

  • good memories, but I think this must be the 90's

  • Slightly rippled with a flat underside. Classic Vic & Bob. Marvellous!!

  • I miss the animated commercials of the 80's.

  • Hahaha the vic and bob one XD

  • Frei-do-di-do What a great Advertiseing ploy.....loved him when I was a kid been drinking 7-up ever since. :P

    Also the "club" ad......Effing brilliant!!

  • Fido Dido??

  • re boost ad, vic reeves came to fame 1991 this must be early 90's not 80's? I remember the boost ad

  • funny how all the voiceover guys on the ads back then talk like they had a golfball in there mouth...now there all northerners lol

  • White chocolate makes me ejaculate. Its a medical condition.

  • OKayyyy Jerraph, He could also sound a bit 'Ncap 5 star safety ratings' to me. Is this the same person who did the voiceovers for: Renault, Tango, The Times, Tesco, Abbey National, McDonald's, Toilet Duck, Cahoot, Mint Card, Pot Noodle, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes?

a Mr Robert Brydon Jones by any chance?

    regards

    jws

  • love it

  • A special prize if you can guess who the voiceover is on the 7Up advert...

  • Hi Jerraph, apart from saying the obvious which would spoil the game, I'll say: 'Martin Jarvis'

    Regards

    jws

  • Hmmm, not getting the Martin Jarvis link I'm afraid!

  • OH MY GOD the caramel advert!! lol i used to love that when i was wee!!! xx

  • OMG I've been going round you tube for about 5 hours today looking at old adverts.

  • took me bk in time thanks

  • How great is YouTube that you can actually re-live this stuff and get all nostalgic? :)

  • Not a funny one. Vic is really out of date.

I'm researching British Adverts at the moment. If anyone has any unusual or rare footage of Ads from the 50s 60s 70s. It's hard to find them, does anyone know of any that aren't on youtube?

    Elizabeth de Villiers

    London UK

  • GUINESS?? IN CANS??!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Lol loving this video!!

  • Lego!!!!! The best thing the Danes invented, apart from some other stuff too. However, these days, Lego is so expensive and bloody Americanised - it's ruined. Even for collectors. I can see why no-one hardly buys it anymore, Lego was better back in the 80s, much much better!

I liked that Pilsner advert, cleverly done.

  • KARATE KIIIIIIID!!!!!

  • wow that 7-up can wouldnt look out of place on the shelf today very cutting edge style go fido dido

  • There's a lot of chocolate here

  • Thanks for the memories-oh and for making me feel old!!! hehehe

  • i admit,i liked the cadburys bunny!

  • Vic & Bob legends!!!!!!

  • Vic was on Would I Lie To You to recently.. he's lazy, has bothered updating his style of comedy and he's no longer funny.

  • Eh? Was that Vic Reeves in the Boost advert? The curly haired guy at the end of the Skol advert is Mark Arden who was also in The Young Ones and the early series of London's Burning.

  • i wanna be a kid again!! born 1984!! i love watching all these old ads!! brings bk the long hazy memories x

  • Who would have done the Cadbury bunny? Come on boys, you cant lie to yourself..

  • fuck yeah!!

  • ITS ALL CHOCOLET AND BEER

  • mmmmm, boooooost!

  • i think this is the 90's

  • Ahhhh the cadbury's bunny.

The furst stirrings of furry yiffage.

  • LOL - I used to think the kid in that Fudge ad was singing "full of peppery goodness" not Cadbury goodness!! I used to wonder why it never made sense.

  • You're not the only one. I used to think it was peppery goodness too!

  • me too
