The song memory for me; as a teenager on a fishing boat coming back to harbour, in the warm sun, the boat rolling with the swell, this song playing over the deck speaker sounded so great.
@destronia123 Most artists lipsynced on various TV shows back then. Everyone knows it's a lipsync in the audince and on the TV veiwing audince. Ashley Simpson deceived people into thinking she was singing live. Huge difference.
At the risk of sounding like my parents.... These kids today don't know what good music is. Nothing they have has " soul" or good rythmn... God Bless the 60-70's
i like this song, along with moody blues, sly and the fam. stone, allman bro's, clapton, miles davis, eddie palmieri, james taylor,santana......etc etc....in other words, why do so many people, just like one or two types of music ? those people tend to be boring, just like their musical taste.
This song was played in tonight's episode of "Outsourced" that comes on NBC on Thursdays. One of the characters on the show actually sung this song when proposing to his girlfriend. It was humorous yet touching. I havent heard this song in awhile, so I decided to look it up. It's really a great song.
That was awesome, brings back so many memories...of being 4 yrs old and singing with my Mom in the car on our way to my swimming lessons...good times!!

Clásico del año 1973. Y pensar que esta canción le gano a Feelings en ese año el Grammy a mejor canción. Es buena, pero no tanto.
