their early stuff is amazing-- this fairly recent song sounds like their old records for sure.... they were only teenagers when they started... I'm from their home base so they're actually how I got into metal when I was a wee one ;)

I started listening to Death Angel last year. I started with their Killing Season album because I liked Dethroned. I like it so much that I decided to check out their first two albums, which are awesome. I never got around to checking out Act III or The Art of Dying though. This song kicks ass. Its a shame they aren't more famous. They're just as good as bands like Metallica, Anthrax, and even Iron Maiden.

Try listening to their older stuff, especially from their beginnings, it's just brutal riffs after brutal riffs.
