@Rudyv123 - they do demos! The scary thing is if you ride one, you'll want one. They're truly amazing. See if your local BMW dealer offers a demo ride - or look for the BMW demo truck - they travel the nation with a fleet of these monsters! Drool!
The only ting I don't like about the bike is, there's no boards. It's foot pegs. I have to extend my legs out and relax. I'd never last with my feet right under my seat.
@rlunderhill I'm used to riding a cruiser (HD V Rod) with my feet out in front of me. So I ordered my GTL with the taller seat so my legs would be a little less bent. My wife and I rode my V Rod 2 up for 3300 miles last year, that's why I ordered a luxury touring bike. The GTL is phenomenal.
When they introduced it I thought it looks nice, then when I heard it on higher revs I just fell in love. Maybe in 10 years I will be able to afford one haha
@glennofsb - No, I'm keeping them both. Don't think I'll ever part with the Ness Jackpot (I swear I'll be buried with that thing!), and the more I ride the XC the more I love it. Handled soooo well through the corners coming back from Reno this past weekend. We need two tourers, so my hubby will likely upgrade his BMW R1200RT for the 1600. So nice of him to 'take one for the team'. LOL
I'v been drooling over the same bike.....

It's not an ergonomically sound bike. For me.

@WatchToddPattison LOL - yep, I'm a sick puppy. If I had Jay Lenno's income and space, I'd be in real trouble. :-)
