¡qué tiernecitos! para comérselos; yo he tenido niños en mis clases... y hasta que se llega a algo de actuación mínimamente consistente con ellos... es agotador... y luego también
Japanese martial arts schools (dojo) usually have no decoration. If that was what you meant by "empty". In the west, many martial arts school tend to hang posters etc. We don't. We like simple and practical design like in traditional dojo.
Request some advice from you. My son is 8 yrs old and he wants to get into Martial Arts. he is by nature very calm and timid. Would Aikido be adviceable for him or some more aggressive Martial Art Form? Why I am asking is that keeping in mind that he is timid by nature, would a aggressive art form be good for him ? Your advice would be highly appreciated.
Hello, I think that at the age of 8, your son should be able to make a good choice.
Please give Aikido a try and also other martial arts. At young age, in most cases, the teacher is more important than the art. Please find an instructor who has many happy kids-students. Do not hesitate to talk to their parents. A good sign for a good teacher is when he has students who continue with him for years.
I hope you fine a good place.
Please keep in touch and feel fee to write any time.
aikido is a fantastic martial art. although i am a judoka i have visited aikido clubs and intend to take it up at some point in the future as it is an incredibly unique and, as with all styles, effective self defence method when used correctly.
Got to hand it over to you. Here in Finland even in adult groups (mainly in basic courses) the pupils are not so calm and well behaved, not running around pointlessly.
Awesome!! I really appreciate the obvious heart you show toward your students. Very nurturing and guiding. Nice work Sensei. Greetings from Chi-Tu Do practitioners in America.
Brilliant! 5-star! The music is perfectly suited to the images and it's really well-edited. Myself and my 2-year-old daughter can't watch it enough! (I clicked 3-star by mistake cos of child on my knee, sorry!)
well, I can tell you that now, after a year, most of them still practice joyfully. Too young fo Aikido? It all depends on the instructor's ability to adjust his teaching to their age. Now aren't adjasting abilities a part of Aikido?
No! they are not too young to practice Aikido.
Please visit us some day and have a GREAT time together.

In our 5-years-old classes, we always teach small groups. I like to keep my teaching personal espcially with such young children.

my pure hebrew blood does not approve of how empty the school is.
