  • I am still using the stock H pipe. I have plans for an X-pipe int he future, but I still like the sound as it is now. Not too loud, but people know you aren't stock.

  • Sorry, I meant are you using the american thunders with the stock h-pipe or did you get an aftermarket midpipe?

  • Are you using the ameri

  • i got a 99 cobra.. how much louder is the american thunder kit... i mean i don't wanna go deaf driving it but i want a throatier sound

  • @xmodrock I was actually expecting it to be louder than it is. I am really happy with it. The only thing I don't like is the drone at 2100 RPM, but I can live with it. I think it sounds great and I am happy it isn't any louder. It is definitely a little louder and a lot throatier than stock with regular driving. At WOT, you know you definitely have a different system on the car. All in all, I think it is a nice balance and not obnoxious at all.

  • @steve1quick6 sweet and thanks for the review!!! nice car BTW

  • I thought american thunder and super 44s were 2 diff mufflers, not the same thing urs says its like both put in 1
