I really dig this version...but I like the album version as well...just different feel. I agree that the Skids were not really the Skids without Stuart. But I do think "Joy" is a pretty good album in its own right.
This proves that Stuart made this band. The album version v/o him blows ass. The Skids were a great band w/ him. W/o Stuart, they were like the Bulls w/o Jordan.
I had a perv at the Yamaha site and they dont know seem to have SG models currently but SBG 1000 and 2000 models look pretty close,there is mention of the Celebrated SG 1000 and 2000 series so Germo I think wins the cigar on this occasion.What a bunch of anoraks we are (well me anyway)wish I could actually play a guitar!

barrie, jobson a bit dodgy on the strings but adamson god bless him was sheer class & bass and drums come together really well. ah hoy.
