I don't know about that lol He still has a lot of play in him so and he is 3 years But they live for like 8 to 10 so he has a long way to go .

I had to go buy one just for him but NO I do not I just play with him and it I don't leave it in the cage .He likes the sound of the toy not so much the toy you can hear the toy if you listen .

Boy, that's a pretty big and scary toy for a budgie... But Mickey doesn't scare easily: he's not overwhelmed in the least! I think he's kissing it trying to get it to follow in his cage... I would follow Mickey anywhere...
