What an astonishing album No Roses is, and such a wealth of talent. The folk royalty of the early seventies all seem to have made their contribution, and what a tribute to the talents of Shirley Collins. Didn't seem to get the praise of, say, Liege and Lief. I wonder if there were any live performances of the material?
