@JoeRingo118 Its not necessary to know the storyline between the games, but if Oblivion (4th game), hadnt took place, Skyrim would be changed and everyone would virtually be already dead becasue the daedra would run loose.

They have a canon storyline, but it doesnt relate to the main character in any way.

@Desh681 yeah. but think about fallout, betheseda created that too. in fallout 3 you fixed the water for everyone in the wasteland (took away the radioactivity). and in fallout new vegas the water isn´t radioactive. and a book which was written in fallout 3 is now a book which you can find in fallout New vegas. those games has a good story between them.. why can´t elder scrolls then, there are crossbows in morrowind but not in skyrim.

@photographerleia I say virtually because it is slightly different, the arrangements are more orchestrated than the original stuff was in morrowind, 're-made'. But yeah, it's definitely there. I had a huge Morrowind phase before Skyrim came out and some of the random exploration background music is there.

Some of the music really is just lifted straight from the MW soundtrack, but I clearly haven't paid close enough attention to the orchestration. Either way, it's nice to see it there. Since I almost always played a Nord in Morrowind, the music helps me form a natural, mental connection between the two games.
