such a project was designed back in 2000 in UET lahore where corrolla was remotly control via voice data control through mobile ,or satellite phone with precise position control. That project topped in UET that year . But no motivtion either by govt or even UET for those students who spent a lot to develop these. And i was one of that project.....

This is remote controlled, something done even in the 60s. What Google is doing is Autonomous driving, the car drives itself, controls itself without human input.
