  • Does the size effect the taste/texture of the fish?

  • Anyone that complains at this is an idiot, This guy has treated the fish with respect even when it's dead, He didn't hack at it cutting it up into chunks, He sliced it properly and cleanly, +1 to giving respect to something that gave it's life so you can have yours.

  • Respect for the fish, respect for his profession, respect for his clients. A job well done and without any fanfare. Humility at it's finest.

  • he's a member of seven swords men in naruto.

  • samurai turned fisherman

  • ahi tuna is not cheap

  • is that a samurai sword?

  • What Hattori Hanzo does now for a living...

  • why do they constantly hit the knife while they're cutting shit?

  • @duckiesv It recenters the knife in his hand, along the same lines as vibrating air out of concrete. Rattles the knife back into a comfortable position

  • @islandofice usefull information, thank you

  • @CaptainAAllen Because a can of tuna wasn't swimming in the ocean earlier that morning. Remember, the whole fish has all kinds of different types of meat on it with varying quality, fat content, flavor, texture, etc., which each bring different prices in a restaurant. What you get in a can of tuna is just chunks of the same part of the fish no matter which can you open. Also, a can of tuna has like 2 ounces of meat in it; a whole tuna can be upwards of 500 lbs, lol.

  • Would hate to get on his wrong side

  • That fish must cost as much as a car.

  • @wow0yunnies

Yes, a wet smelly and waterdamaged chinese-made car.

  • @DutchManticore Tuna is highly expensive.

    look it up.

a big good quality tuna can actually be sold at insane prices. enough to buy a car easily

  • @DutchManticore In January 2011 the 754 pound tuna sold on the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo for US$396700 - the highest price for a single fish

    google <3

  • @colony665 Expensive, yes, but tuna's also damn rich in protein and Omega 3s.

  • @SwerdThaViewer kinda out of the point, but yes fish is healthy for you :P

  • they use samurai to cut fish??

  • wow

  • @TheNikko88 chuck norris is a bitch.

  • dang those could be for ninjas,

  • those people have samurai blood in them.

  • That man is a ninja

  • hell yeah, use a sword

  • wow, =3

  • This is what samurai's do these days with their sword.

  • the way they cut it is an art of perfection almost everything that they do is like that

  • i like how he spanks the fish with the sword

  • gorgeous meat

  • is that a katana?!?!?! holy crap that thing is HUUUUUUGE!

  • naw, its shaped in a similar way, but its rly a big knife even to the grade of steel they use. u could try to swing it, but itd probably wobble alot.

  • @Pimpmastahanhduece yeah tru, but still....It's BIG!!

  • I did a little research and those swords are called "Ikkanshi Tadatsuna " and they cost a preatty penny

  • I need one of those instead of a gun for safety when i walk the streets that way no one would wanna fuck with me..lol

  • i want that sword...

  • @bartyboy222222222222 And you'd have ruined the meat on the outside. Highly doubt you'd want to do that with how much this meat cost...

  • with the head and tail and all fins and stuff in tact in tact it cant be more than 70 pounds this thing is not near 100 pounds

  • Quit fucking around, get a chainsaw!

  • Now, that's what I call a knife

  • @mugsyjeff that's a sword!

  • @rocrfella Thanks for that, I forgot what I said. I've seen for myself the Japanese fish market & the fish being cut up. They really take their work seriously. I heard the other day that 1 tuna fetched $394,000.00. You wouldn't want to make any mistakes cutting that fish up.

  • @mugsyjeff I believe you. It makes me want to quit my job, go to Japan, catch one big tuna. Auction it then move back to America and buy a house with the money!

  • @rocrfella That's big money for 1 fish. I think that was once in a very blue moon. I'm a snapper fisherman, the bloke I sell my fish to came down to my boat especially to tell me. Another bloke was there who actually sends tuna over there. He said it wasn't his. Well, I'll catch ya later, cheers

  • @mugsyjeff THAT'S A KNIFE?

  • @milkduds8a Yes, apparently, we saw for ourselves on our trip to Japan. Very interesting, well worth taking a look. We saw the tuna auction, the seafood section, the tuna being cut up. Apparently the tuna auction's closed to the public now.

  • @mugsyjeff Thats no knife... thats a fucking sword!

  • @ihatefatpeople3000 that's not a fucking sword...that's a fucking katana!

  • @ihatefatpeople3000 Thats a Chuck Norris knife...

  • DAMN! Big ass knife you got there lol. Could you tell me where you got it? =]

  • Surprisingly not at all. Surprising because Tsukuji is the biggest fish market in the world. The Japanese like things clean and they know how to keep their fish markets from smelling nasty. (Been to Tsukuji - lived in Tokyo 31/2 yrs).

  • thats one f*cking great peace of tuna, makes a man hungry!
