  • This was an excellent video. I hope you recieved a good grade for it. I don't know what you do for a living but you should consider doing a series of videos on the Cold War. I am a teacher an plan on showing this video to my class. The map and color coding was great. It felt so modern. The video will relate well to my students because it feels like a video game. Great job!

  • Nothing about Vietnam or Affghanistan or Turkey in the Cuban Crisis ?

  • @0daby I rushed the video, that's why I didn't mention Turkey's missiles being removed (as requested by the Soviet Union in exchange for getting rid of their missiles on Cuba) etc, sorry.

I didn't include them not because I didn't know about them, I didn't include them because I didn't have enough time to add them.

  • @JinRenegade I think you should do more videos about history stuff. i really enjoyed this video, it is awesome and it helped me, with my research for a cold war discussion at the history class

  • @0daby Thanks, I'll definitely consider it. However, I may not do them on this channel because this channel was solely made do to do with video games (this being my old video game nickname). I've been thinking of making a channel for political/historical/other non-game-related stuff.

But yeah, I know how it feels to try and find information for history classes/exams in bitesize form, so I'd definitely like to help people who were in the same position as I was.

  • France never left NATO, or least not that i know of but currently they're in NATO

  • @OmarSerranoMusic Huh? France left NATO in 1966 because Charles de Gaulle wanted to build his own independent command structure rather than be a apart of NATO which relied on the US. However, France rejoined NATO 2 years ago in March 11th 2009 because (I think) it decided that European Defence needed to be strengthened.

  • @JinRenegade Nevermind then.

  • I'm in 8th grade, and I have a big test tomorrow on Cold War. This PowerPoint slides were really good, and I could understand very well. I think I can get a good grade tomorrow. Thank you!

  • @Pinkcherryblossom125 Glad it helped :)

  • the Cubans didn't ask for protection, it was a mutual agreement, the Soviets bought sugar from Cuba in return for placement of military bases to house the IBMs in response to the USAs ones in Turkey

  • @smith3451 Yeah I knew that, but I didn't want to go into that much detail. It was just a short video explaining the basics. Also, when I was making the Cuban and U2 Crisis, I didn't have enough time to re-write the stuff I'd already written because there was a deadline.

  • @JinRenegade cool

  • you've put the Empire of Japan, but the Soviets only declared war on them after VE-Day

  • @smith3451 You're right, totally forgot about that.

  • @smith3451 great video btw

  • @JinRenegade erm yeh lol i do history all the way man

  • This is amazing, will use this to help me revise for my history exam.
