All of the "overly repetitive" lines serve a huge purpose in the show and how it is written. They are a build and show that what is happening leads into the next scene. But this isn't my interpretation so to each their own. @TortugaDeDios. Also, if it is a 40 minute play festival maybe choose a play that traditionally runs 40 mins so you don't lose the playwrights voice completely.

They cut sooo much from it

@Frankmac90 It was for a 40-minute play festival, so the script had be to cut down to fit within 40 minutes (it ended clocking in at 39:59). But I still would've cut almost as much anyway because the show gets so bogged down in the overly-repetitive lines.

Pretty nice production, but the University of Nebraska at Omaha just did this play and it was PHENOMENAL.
