  • How do you know how much fat and protein to consume. I know it goes by body weight but how do you calculate it. And when you carb up how much do you take

  • @willman6700 hey, first calculate your daily calorie needs....to lose fat lower calories by 10%....make sure within those calories your getting 1 gram of protien per pound of bodyweight....once you've got this make up the rest of your calories from fat. Hope that makes sense.

  • Is it normal then u feel tired, have haedaches and things like that when u switch to burn fat instead of carbs?and is it true u can eat up to 50/60gr carbs and still be in ketosis? cheers!!

  • @mokugin81 You may get headaches and feel tired during the transition into fat burning mode but when you are in it you should feel great. You can eat up to 60 grams thats correct. I wouldnt eat them all in one sitting though.

  • Great video, really helps to make sense of the diet. What's your typical workout? and how many times per week? Thanks!!!

  • @TheLemonSquasha Thanks..I usually follow 5 day split training each muscle group per workout...

  • good luck ive done this many times and IT WORKS!!!!! I just do it as a lifestyle I started on Atkins losing 6 stonne in 6 months and had no energy for my workouts. I started carb loading one day a week and noticed i was getting much better workouts, had more strength and started to see gains. I eat this way all the time now so keep me at a weight im happy with not for competitions or anything like that.

  • @Oscar362K362 Thanks man. Yeah the carb up makes my following weeks workouts unreal plus its a break from the diet which is necessary in my opinion.

  • I'll follow your progress on this. I'm actually doing the same diet as well. I've completed one week. Apparently their is supposed to be very low energy levels during your low carb days. Have u experienced this? I personally havn't had any energy problems as of yet.

  • @getupkid86 thanks for following! You should only experience low energy initially as your body is switching from burning carbs to burning fat. Once your in ketosis then your energy levels should go back to normal. Sounds like you've switched over very quickly. Good luck with the diet!
