Mine is almost identical except it's in better condition, fewer miles, with automatic driver/shotgun windows. I also have carpet in decent condition and my seats are not vinyl.

My Farther has one its a 90 12 passanger Van just like this one but the back door in one huge door not 2 doors and it was converted too a wheel chair Van with lift for his Wife but she died last August so he uses it for a tool van now use the lift for heavy Tools. They love Gas great for a work Van.

Answers about the van:

1. Doesn't get hot or loud when the engine cover is on

2. all vans have their engines somewhat in the middle (ford, dodge and GM)...Even the new 2010 fords and GM (Dodge stopped 2003)

3.Its called a "ram" van, because it has the dodge ram's engine, frame and towing capacity.

4. these vans are pretty reliable, you can get about 300,000 + miles without any major issues

5. I have 2 of them, both with around 200,000 miles....My uncle still has his @ 430,000 miles +

you know, it amazes me how rude and inexperienced people can be. First, the ram350 can haul a full ton, which would squash most cars. Second, for $1500, you cannot expect to buy a nice pretty car without any problems. third, you can see the engine cover sitting right there in the van. Fourth, when driving down the road, there's really not that much engine heat coming into the passenger area. Say Something NICE for once. For a '91, this is awesome!

This van would make someone a great work van as is, or with a good detailing/cleaning and some paint, a presentable people hauler. surely you can respect that. And BTW, American van engines were in the cab for over 50 years, in almost all vans produced by the Big Three. Noise/heat was never a problem. :)

@vigilante11485 not really (on the driver's side on mine the front bolt on the mainfold is loose [can't tighten] so exhaust gas is aimed at my pumper foot) but normally the engine cover is quite insulated with insualation & foil to keep things managable
