This track is a rave track - it always was and it always will be. Thanks - this is great - I think the 1990 version is so different - almost like they come frmo a different age - this is more like a classic disco track with funky bass and backing singers, and the 1990 mix is a much more sparse arrangement, but no less danceable.

Finally got to see Candi perform live at the Concorde 2 in Brighton on Friday and she was fantastic - note perfect, gave it all she had, despite being a septegenerian. The band teased the better-known 1990 version at the beginning and the end of the song, but the main thrust was still based on this version. Fantastic!

This is the only (the original, and in my book, the best) version of this song I own, and it caused a bit of a rumpus when I played this to my daughter after her raving on about the Florence And The Machine version.
