@kaynewest1995 You can hear them on any guitar. Acoustic or electric. They just sound good when you have distortion on them

@kaynewest1995 Be sure to press down the frets hard enough, check a video on how to properly hold a pick and only strike the strings that the power chord is on.

@youngsoldier93 The type of magnet in the pickup changes the sound due to it's power, which changes the tone because the output is higher.

There is way more to it though, research can tell you everything you could want to know. :)
