Also, what type of paper do you use?

I'm fairly new to calligraphy, i used to practice it as a kid but obviously i was terrible. i recently bought a fountain pen because it was the same one i had as a kid and I've started writing again, i was wondering what that type of pen you're using is called because i cant achieve those strokes with a normal fountain pen and i just wanted to know what to look for

I notice you do not use an oblique holder, is there any reason why you do not use one. Beautiful work.

Yes I never use oblique holders because I feel it decreases my dominance on the letters.
