I love your piano in this piece. It gives a really cool mood and reminds me of being in a smoky dirty pub with someone busking with that. I love it :)
Yeah, I did Death by Pasta and Struttin' it Around for my HSC here in Australia, and did quite well in both. Death by Pasta is a wonderful piece, but there are no recordings of it around anywhere, which is a shame!
This is great. You have great feeling for the piece. Get some money for a better piano! Ever thought of busking with a keyboard? My boys do that and get heaps around xmas ... Keep it up. And try Sonny Chua's Death by Pasta -- that also has a lot of feeling (my son won a piano prize with that one!). Cheers.
thanks for ur comment =] i am saving up for a new piano now, well laptop 1st, then piano is next! and ill look into that piece, i need some new stuff!! ta! x
I was at masterclasses with Sonny Chua on the weekend and he said that he had a loud, out of tune piano in mind (not the concert Steirway we were using) when he wrote this piece. You capture the mood and character really well.
Brilliant playing! I can feel the attitude bursting from my speakers :D really enjoyable.

You sped up way too much after the start, and you're right, the dynamics and tuning are a bit out XD
But boy oh boy, I admire your glissandos. I've got the rest of the piece somwhat perfect... but I can't get the bloody glissandos XDD
