Last time I checked, my unit was unable to find any WMDs in Iraq while we were there. We just wasted our time digging up grain silos. And that was the basis of going into Iraq - to find WMDs. Actually, about 50-60,000 people have died since the beginning of the war, and most by "insurgents." That number also includes US/Allied forces. A fraction of what Saddam would have killed over the same period of time. Iraq had WMD's, supported terror, and sheltered/sponsored terrorists. He's dead, and I say good riddance. Iraq is a democracy, and much better off now. I think the Iranians are good people, but their leaders are insane.

Just some quick info...they do not have to wear it. i was in iraq 03-04 and 05-06 i learned alot about the culture there. This is done for religous purpose , so as to not to draw sexual attention from men. They take this off in their homes and dont wear it around family. There is no relation between frequency (Mhz) and power (W). The frequency only determine the "channel" where you must tune your receiver to get the signal, the power and the antenna design give the distance where the signal is useful. At 13Mhz that is the standard frequency for RFID and with an antenna big less than a bean you would need 10KW to be received by a satellite that is at least 250Km away ... with 10KW your skin would explode and you would need a power source for that.. so sorry.

not true. there are many different types of rfid. Look up backscatter rfid. They can operate around 1GHz. If you wanted to track somebody from a satellite, put a reciever/transmitter on every city block. A signal from the satellite can be re-broadcasted locally. If it receives backscatter, it can then retransmit at high power back to the satellite.
Can't work. A RFID is a device that is powered by the radio signal of the reading device, received by the antenna (a very little antenna) and rectified(try to figure the loss at 1Ghz). Try to do some simple calculation using the equation of RF propagation in air and you'll discover that in no way a transmitter at a distance more than 1 meter can power a RIFD. So there are 2 choices:1)it's no more a RFID and is powered by a battery 2) you have antennas every 1 meter.
totally off topic .. however, simple calculations (probably) assume the device responds linearly to the signal. i'm not sure it's impossible for a tiny device to store up energy over a period of time from a signal, and then broadcast a burst at a precise frequency. the more exact the frequencies of transmission and reception, the lower the power required

Actually, about 50-60,000 people have died since the beginning of the war, and most by "insurgents." That number also includes US/Allied forces. A fraction of what Saddam would have killed over the same period of time. Iraq had WMD's, supported terror, and sheltered/sponsored terrorists. He's dead, and I say good riddance. Iraq is a democracy, and much better off now. I think the Iranians are good people, but their leaders are insane.

What will most likely occur is a blockade of the country along side an intense aerial campaign to destroy the entire infrastructure of Iran justified by an inevitable strike by iran on israel. This is another reason why we are not pulling out troops in iraq and we are allowing the war in Afghanistan against a couple thousand mountain men to continue on. Just some quick info...they do not have to wear it. i was in iraq 03-04 and 05-06 i learned alot about the culture there. This is done for religous purpose , so as to not to draw sexual attention from men. They take this off in their homes and dont wear it around family. The ones that do this are following what they believe to be right by god.

By the way. An RFID is so a demoniac device that you can cheat it just wrapping a aluminium foil around it. I can't imagine a total control tracking device that don't work out a city, don't work if wrapped in aluminium, don't work if there are no antennas at less than 1 meters that power it. you know, my experience is that all the people that are barking to loud about the foreign politics of US and Europe have never been around the world. I don't know Georgia but I know very well Iran Iraq palestine and israel and be sure that the beautiful world you see there is not so beautiful. I know I did projected that stuff to buy drinks at the clubs. What has a chip that contains some kb of data to do with people control??? If you need to identify people you can do that much simpler with eye reading or fingerprints. Do you want to trace where they are? you cannot with a RFID. It's a low power device and cannot be activated at more than 50 centimeters from the antenna. Don't belive this?! proof me the opposite with your unlimited knowledge

There is no relation between frequency (Mhz) and power (W). The frequency only determine the "channel" where you must tune your receiver to get the signal, the power and the antenna design give the distance where the signal is useful. At 13Mhz that is the standard frequency for RFID and with an antenna big less than a bean you would need 10KW to be received by a satellite that is at least 250Km away ... with 10KW your skin would explode and you would need a power source for that.. so sorry.

not true. there are many different types of rfid. Look up backscatter rfid. They can operate around 1GHz. If you wanted to track somebody from a satellite, put a reciever/transmitter on every city block. A signal from the satellite can be re-broadcasted locally. If it receives backscatter, it can then retransmit at high power back to the satellite.

Can't work. A RFID is a device that is powered by the radio signal of the reading device, received by the antenna (a very little antenna) and rectified(try to figure the loss at 1Ghz). Try to do some simple calculation using the equation of RF propagation in air and you'll discover that in no way a transmitter at a distance more than 1 meter can power a RIFD. So there are 2 choices:1)it's no more a RFID and is powered by a battery 2) you have antennas every 1 meter.

totally off topic .. however, simple calculations (probably) assume the device responds linearly to the signal. i'm not sure it's impossible for a tiny device to store up energy over a period of time from a signal, and then broadcast a burst at a precise frequency. the more exact the frequencies of transmission and reception, the lower the power required
