@trackstar789 True - the thing is this is the DOS version, which as far as I'm aware only has the PC Speaker available for sound.

Sadly DOSBox didn't handle it too well.

There were so many different versions of Battle Chess that I'm sure one with better sound can be found easily.

It is so because this guy play this old game in a modern computer. He dont down the velocity of the game (I use dosbox for example).
